The Democrat’s Surge

This is a very good article about the Democrats possibly hanging themselves out to dry with their anti-Iraq war policy.
The funny thing here is that the Democrats voted for Gen. David Petraeus to be the new head in the Iraq war knowing full well he supported the surge. If they didn’t agree with him they should have voted against him.This leads to the question, did they vote for him just so they could oppose the surge if it went bad? This would further their attempt to embarrass the president. While at the same time knowing if the surge worked they could spin this into a victory for them.

The surge hasn’t even really started yet, just the rules of engagement have changed and NG units have been pulled out of some areas and been replaced with regular units.
I have a pretty good source, and when the surge takes place it will be noticeable. Very noticeable.
