Britain to stop Using the term ‘War On Terror’

April 16, 2007

First the Democrats on the U.S. House Armed Services Committee banned the term global war on terror.

Then we get word that the European Union wants to ban the terms ‘Jihad, Islamic terrorists’ and others so the terrorists won’t be mad at us any more.

Now we get this, Britain will stop using the term ‘war on terror’ also.

From the article:

According to his prepared remarks, international development secretary Hilary Benn will say that the “war on terror” concept has emboldened terrorists, by making them feel as though they are part of something bigger than they are, British media organizations report.

Why do people think you can coddle these people and make them like us? You can’t, the terrorists are being taught in schools to hate, calling them terrorists who abusively invoke Islam, like the EU want’s to do will only show them we are afraid of them. This is what really emboldens them.
