We've already been over this:

"Analysis of high-quality, precise measurements of the Sun’s total brightness over the past 25 years shows that there has been little if any change in the long-term average of solar output over this time period. Thus, changes in the Sun can not explain the warming observed over the past 25 years"

Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations
Committee on Energy and Commerce
U.S. House of Representatives

The term "global warming" has to do with the average global temperature. 2 important words there: average and global. While temperature changes may go up in some areas, they may go down in others, while some others may experience no change at all. The issue is that as a global AVERAGE, the temperature is in fact rising. The reason that people in different areas experience different changes is due to an increase in weather "severity" caused by the warming.

You're comparing daily weather prediction with analysis of "past/current" climate conditions. The former, as you noted, is difficult because weather is a chaotic system. The latter is simple.

The farmer's almanac makes predictions that are very general and require only a cursory knowledge of climate history. They say from November 5 thru 10, for that whole period: sunny/cool. If one day is sunny and cool, does that count? Does every day have to be sunny and cool? If you held them to every single word for the entire area and every word for the entire period, then I say they might not even be right one third of the time. In fact, they might be right 10 percent of the time.

I could say "October 8 to 15 in this area: generally dry, very cool weather expected; first frost and freezes in the valleys." And I would be right probably eight out of 10 years. This is simply based on history. And there's nothing wrong with that. If they are using past climate data, just like meteorologists do, that's great, but meteorologists take much more data into account.

I'd like to see this "irrefutable" evidence. I'd also like to know how it is that we're all doomed if we don't act now. I'd also like to know why it is that I hear about global warming every day from you psychos and yet I still wake up and have to go to work when it 10 below zero out here (which is a little cooler than normal, but still pretty normal for this area). If this is global warming, then so be it. I don't want it any cooler, and if you roundheads try to artificially induce global cooling and make my morning commutes any colder, I'm really going to be angry!

This is getting out of hand. The scientists and meteorologists can't even tell me what the weather will be tomorrow. I chronicled a 12-hour period one day based on a couple different weather outlets online, and logged over 15 different changes to the forecast that was just the next day! These bozos don't know what is going on in the world when it comes to weather and climate. Nobody does. It's a completely chaotic system. The farmer's almanac is more accurate than the scientists who supposedly claim to know what is going on on and why. The farmer's almanac is right much more often than the meteorologists because they look at history and trends. They don't rely on theory. And last year's farmer's almanac said that global warming is hooey anyway! It's sad when you have to turn to a book like that because it's more reliable and sane than the scientists, but it's the state of things right now. The global warming zealots have lost their minds.

All these issues are old, the issues have been researched, and the science has proved them wrong. The sun is NOT the major cause of the current warming. There is now irrefutable evidence to support this scientific conclusion.
