I am hoping, however that we do not just leave it up to our hero to do all the fighting for this country.
It is also our job to point these issues out to supporters of other candidates and to not simply preach to or encourage each other..but to reach out to prospective converts..appeal to their common sense and decency..get them involved in this campaign.

I am betting on New Hampshire voters to put us well over the 10% mark..and frankly I’d call it a victory if we polled near 20%. Then Ron and his supporters [us] would be taken seriously..impossible to ignore.

So now..let’s all take a deep breath and get ready for the battle ahead.

I certainly did my best to help with that ideal at the Iowa caucuses this past Jan. 3rd. And I believe to a large extent we were successful.

Here is a reply I made to an inquiry from a Ron Paul supporter from New York state. “Ron” writes:

I heard on the news last night that Huckabee was the overwhelming Rep favorite and Ron Paul came in with only 10%, beating only Rudy who had 3%. You are a lot closer to Iowa then I. Any thoughts on it?

I replied:

Hi Ron.

I think the 10% figure is apparently accurate. I don’t believe Dr. Paul’s vote was messed with (this time) for a couple of reasons. First, the Iowa GOP was on full notice that we were going to record the vote at the precinct level, where the vote is in fact done on paper ballets and counted in the open, at least it was at the precinct location I attended.

Second, I don’t think the Iowa GOP felt they needed to fiddle with Dr. Paul’s vote. Iowa is like the Bible Belt of the North. And while the MSM gave very little attention (free advertising) to Dr. Paul, they gushed continuously over Huckabee, never failing to mention that he was a Baptist preacher.

The following link is to the project where many volunteers attended the Iowa caucuses, and recorded the vote totals as they were announced. As you will see, according to our volunteer recorded vote count, Dr. Paul got roughly 10%, just like the “official” 10% results.

But, while Dr. Paul’s vote appears to be accurate, I think there was still some election hanky-panky going on, most likely to enhance Huckabee’s vote total. I monitored two of the eight precincts in Lyon County, Iowa, where out of 119 votes, Duncan Hunter got nine votes. But if you take a look at the official results for Lyon County on the following link, you will see that they are reporting ZERO votes for Hunter for the entire county!

The local precinct vote was honest where I was. It’s somewhere up the chain of custody where the totals were massaged.

I think those nine disenfranchised Duncan Hunter voters who I personally know about, and who knows how many others in the other 98 counties should be raising hell with someone about what appears to be one more case of election fraud.

Their scheme to all act amused when he is speaking makes them obviously unfit for the Presidency, as George Bush has turned out to be.

These are violent-hearted power-lusting little bullies, not statesmen, not philosophers, not gentlemen. Even when I agree with them, I dislike these creeps.

Ron Paul supporters, on the other hand, seem to come from a much broader demographic.

I think that the Independent voters who are watching the debates/forums to get more info before deciding on their candiate of choice will be repelled by McCain’s actions, and will shift to a more palatable candidate– Ron Paul.

John McCain could be crushed if he was asked “Do you support background checks for users of the Internet before they can communicate with each other”. McCain’s answer would have to be yes. That would finish him off.

But Ron Paul missed the opportunity last night to stop McCain with this.
