I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power, than by violent and sudden usurpations- James Madison

Have you heard any of the comments from his and her royal highnesses (Pelosi and Reid) about this though?

Even though this is being hailed as a successful bipartisan effort, neither of them could leave well enough alone. I heard both of them on the radio last night whining and complaining about the whole thing and bitching about how they don't like it but they begrudgingly accepted it anyway. Reid is also claiming that it won't make it through the senate without being changed, so we'll see just how partisan that asshole is going to be here.

I just can't believe that even with this, the democratic leadership can't just leave their partisan politics rhetoric out of it. They always have to let the country know that the Republicans suck, their ideas suck and even if the idea is a good one, it's still not really that good.

I wonder if it's rough to be that negative all the time?
