I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power, than by violent and sudden usurpations- James Madison

I did send it to the governor. I also sent it to two newspaper's editorial sections hoping to get it published. I will probably send it to more newspapers.
As far as the response I will get, I am not expecting much. I sent the governor a letter last year in which I wrote about several New Hampshire issues I was concerned with, I told him I was concerned with the direction the state was taking. I thought that by taking on several issues in one letter I would get something other than a form letter on a single issue in return. How could I receive a form letter about more than one issue? It didn't work, I got back a form letter, and the kicker is, the letter thanked me for my concern about an issue that I didn't even write about in the letter I sent to the governor.

That's a great letter and I can't wait to see what sort of response you get back (you did send it, didn't you?).

You hit on what seems to be a common liberal plague these days; that being if things don't work out as planned, blame Bush and the country that Bush supposedly destroyed.

I think it's sad that the liberal mantra for 2008 is "don't blame me, Bush did it." There is no accountability with these people.. But then again, why do you need accountability when you can just blame somebody else for your mistakes?

We should start referring to the President as George "The Fall Guy" Bush.
