Reading some of these comments can only make one think about how deluded this world has become. So much tension over the colour of a mans skin. Why shun him for something so meaningless? I guess that’s the problem with humans these days .. We’ve become a race so bent on stereotypes that the very sight or even thought of a black president, is enough to drive some twisted individuals to murder. Many other human made flaws are to come into play in years to come, and that’s a legit bet. I can only hint the pain that fills me, watching our world crumble to bits around us.
They say we should save the planet when, in reality the planet will be fine and make a healthy recovery in years after life…It’s we as a race that are in need of rescue. I completely agree, we say we’re marching forward with technology and knowledge, but we are tied by a rope, and that rope will eventually reach its length.

I am not and will not be an Obama Supporter in anyway, shape, or manner. I simply just don’t like his arrogrant manner…NOT THE COLOR OF HIS SKIN.
But, I wouldn’t doubt…what she had to say about an assination or tempts on his life…one bit. Hopefully, this will not happen…
But, racism still lives in this country more than anyone could imagine. I have seen it so rampant and unjustified so many times in the past 10 years. I will give you just a few of the things I have witnessed personally within the past few years:
1) We were in a Campground in Pennsylvania when a white man at the swimming pool told a black man…don’t you come into this swimming pool and change the color of the water.
2) In Panama City, Florida: A young black male (14) died at the hands of 7 guards and a nurse the first day he was at a Boot Camp there. Of course they were all found innocent by an ALL WHITE JURY. But, you should have read the comments being posted on the TV Channels web site. One less Nigger..so one wrote.
3) Panama City Beach, Florida: My son had a Black teacher, Mrs. Williams, who was an excellent teacher in my opinion. But, quite a few parents had their kids removed from her classroom because of the color of her skin.
Like I said, I am not and will not be a supporter of Obama…I will use my voice and opinion to get my points across….but never will they be in any racial undertone…The man doesn’t deserve that.

Geeish, shooting Obama would be the waste of a good bullet. He will have no power as president. ” Mr. Vote Present Obame” will be recieving his orders from the real power, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid that will have majorties in both houses. Do you really think Obama will tell them what to do ?

Unfortunately, from reading these posts, I would have to assume that Obama will be fighting for his life for as long as it takes before the heat cools down or he gets shot.

It is sad to see bigot Christians and elderly beating the living thought out of Obama’s ideals and the people who follow him. Perhaps it is they who need to re-educate themselves. I can not believe a grown person would insist on insulting voters who are younger simply because they are so. As a doctoral student and assistant professor – highly educated in my field, I am insulted. I see it every day, the way people look at me and treat me simply because I am younger. I believe my comment here speaks for itself on my literacy.

So get back into your “Depends” if you must insult people for being different or younger. You may have lived through time, but have you really studied it, discussed it, to the point of understanding it?

he will most likely be killed in office there are a lot of racists still out there and this election will bring them out . I dont; think the secret service will be enough to protect him. I heard there we a couple of men that were going to try and to give up there own life to do it just like the muslim extremists. I am afraid that just like the godfather {michael C} said any body can be hit.

It looks likely that Obama will be president. I’m sure secret service will be very busy but I doubt he will get killed even with McCain/Palin race baiting the way they are. If they wanted to they would have done it already. As far as the black vote. Blacks are over 90 percent demorcrat so they were going to vote for the democrat no matter what color they were and yes they do vote not only when there is a black person running for office. The difference is when white people don’t vote for him because he’s black it’s because they have a fear of a black man being president or believe he shouldn’t run the country. When blacks vote for other blacks it’s more about identity rather than being afraid of white people. Many believe that Obama has been through what they been through and he maybe more incline to look out for them since the government tends to ignore them. He is far from desperate it’s McCain that is desperate that he is willing to try to suppress votes by trying to have eligble voters removed from the rolls. Felons are getting registered because the election commissions office made mistakes and some people get through. But keep in mind it isn’t all black people voting for him. Blacks only make up a small percentage of this country, a majority of the people voting for him are white. People want to be apart of history (regardless of if you are voting for McCain or Obama) so the voter turnout is expected to be high on several fronts.

Oh, I seldom visit this site, but to the question on why Obama can both be a TERRORIST and a ?MAY” be good guy.

FIrst may means may, I just think he has been duped by true evil-doers who turn good guys into terrorists who may (oe not may be bad) and honetly believe that what they are doing is right and good for the world. A terrorists does define himself as a terrorists – but a liberator.

True evil-doers use other human beings as “Useful idiots,” or to be nicer as you don’t get it, people down on their luck and other subject to other human vulnerablities and are used by “EVIL – DOERS” to do their dirty work for them. Satan is a master at getting others to do his dirty work for him, if he even remotely thinks he is going to exposed he goes into hiding.

Now for you think I am perhaps a terrorists. No I am a CHristian and my weapons on hope, faith, charity, truth, love and the spirit of the Lord. Stop yor worhip of Obama, again he may be a nice guy, that is being use by pure evil-doers, only God knows that, but at percent he is a dangerous enemy to the Amerian and CHristian way of life.
