you just proved militarists’ point. Peace through strength. With a rediculously large and powerful military, you dont need it. Nobody is dumb enough to fight you. Its almost paradoxal, but the larger the military you have, the less you need it.

Drop our immense capabilities, and we become voulnerable. Suddenly you wish for anything you had just one nuclear submarine to scare the enemy with.

Two big problems:

1. If we get rid of our ICBMs, then other countries will not hesitate to -nuke- us. The whole point of -nukes- is to prevent being -nuked- by having the -nukers- scared of retaliation.

2. In a world without nukes we have world wars over and over again forever; until a one world government is established by the law of probability. The only reason we don’t have major wars in the modern age is entirely due to nuclear weapons; and nothing to do with the UN, whatsoever.
