President Bush to Lift Executive Ban on Offshore Drilling

President Bush is going to lift the executive ban on offshore oil drilling later today. This is step one to increasing our own oil exploration and production, but the battle will continue.
This measure throws the ball back into the congress’ court. They must now lift their ban on offshore drilling for anything to happen.
It is time for them to take action instead of just babbling. While this won’t bring gas prices down for quite a while the more time lost just worsens the problem.
The time for action is now.

It will be interesting to see if the Dem led congress does anything to really help or not.

Trackedback to your post from Media Bias: Offshore Drilling Wouldn’t Lower Gas Prices for Ten Years

I think we are going to see this play out right as we go into the election.
