I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power, than by violent and sudden usurpations- James Madison

I'm just glad that it no longer matters if Franken wins. Are people completely (get ready, non
PC term coming up..) retarted? And by that I mean backward. What is he going to say if he wins (steals) the election? " I'm good enough, and people like me..."? He gave me the creeps way back then. Will the envelope with the 133 votes ever be found? Does Franken have it?.....

Though I am not a Republican, nor am I a Chambliss fan, I am very happy to see the result. From my experience, single party rule (we saw this for 6 of the last 8 years) can be devastating. Even worse is the 60-vote, philibuster-proof majority we were facing. Thankfully, we'll at least not have this, although the one-party rule we are facing I believe will be even more devastating than the last. Why is it always we the people that lose out in this?
