This week, my brother had sent an e-mail to me with a link to a Glenn Beck episode. I came across your site while reading up on his 9-12 project. After reading your blog about HR 45, and SB 2099, I wanted to do some extra reading about them. From what I found out, HR 45 doesn’t even have any co-sponsors. Also, looking at the House of Representatives site, it shows the last actions were back in February. Even though it is still technically active, hopefully it will die with no further actions. We will have to keep an eye on it to ensure nothing changes.
As for SB 2099, the only information I can find is about an SB 2099 that was introduced when Bill Clinton was in office. That information stated it died quietly, but the topic surfaces on the internet. I read this on the NRA site, and basically concluded the article saying this is nothing to worry about. Afterwards, I checked on the US Senate’s site, and searched for “SB 2099″ and could not find any results.
Anyway, from what I have seen on your site, I believe I will be visiting often. Here, in Wyoming, it sometimes seems we are the last bastion in a sea of unavoidable change(sorry, I hate even using that word!). It is nice to know that we are not, by a long shot. So, in the words of Joe Wilson, let our voices not be muzzled! Thank you.
