There is virtually no chance this legislation can be defeated. The only thing in question now is what the version that reaches Obama’s desk will look like. Right now, the scope of what they are trying to do simply boggles my mind.

The only thing that may save it is if Senators such as Joe Lieberman and Ben Nelson dislike the final version enough to help a filibuster.
