Max Baucus admits that healthcare reform is about wealth redistribution

March 26, 2010

Giddy Democrats– caught in the euphoria of passing healthcare reform against the will of the people– are finding it hard to control themselves in the aftermath of their huge “victory” for over the American people. The are so giddy that they are finally beginning to admit the truth about their agenda. They just cannot help themselves.

First we had John Dingell admit that part of the goal of healthcare reform is to “control the people,” and now another Democrat has opened his mouth and admitted the underlying goal of healthcare reform.

Below is a video of Max Baucus admitting that one of the purposes of healthcare reform is wealth redistribution.

He plainly admits that this bill is an “income shift– a leveling.” He claims that there is a mal-distribution of wealth in America and that the wealthy have become “too wealthy.” He claims that this bill will address this “mal-distribution of wealth in America.”

First of all, what right does the government have in deciding who is too wealthy and who decides what an appropriate  income level should be? Since when is it a crime for a person in America to achieve success at his or her chosen profession?

Second, how is it the government’s responsibility to distribute wealth in the first place?

We are finally learing of the ulterior motive– which many of us suspected in the first place– of the healthcare reform bill. It is not about providing affordable healthcare to all Americans. If it were, they would have passed a bill that would have actually achieved that goal. Instead they passed a bill that mandates Americans must buy healthcare insurance, they are not extending healthcare benefits to the uninsured as they are touting, they are forcing Americans to buy it. There is a major difference between providing Americans healthcare insurance and mandating that Americans buy healthcare insurance or face a penalty. Sure there are subsidies available to help lower income families buy healthcare insurance at the expense of the American taxpayer, but that falls into the category of wealth redistribution.

There is the much quoted bible verse: from whom much is given, much is required that Democrats like to quote when they are about to stick it to the rich, but honestly isn’t it up to the individual to decide when, where, and how to give back to the community and not the government?

The Democrats could be making a fatal flaw here; in their exuberance over passing the healthcare reform bill they are letting their true feelings show, but the American people do not want this type of socialism.

Sure, Barack Obama told the world his exact economic socialist policy when he made the infamous statement to Joe the plumber about “spreading the wealth around” but for the most part the American people didn’t listen to what Barack Obama actually said, while those that spoke out against his comment were called fringe, paranoid, racist, haters who were taking his words out of context to paint him as a radical. But now we are seeing Democrats actually admitting that what we were saying about Barack Obama during the campaign was true. Al Sharpton recently admitted as mush when he said,  “we have to say the American public overwhelmingly voted for socialism when they elected President Obama.”

The American people– driven by Republican scandals and a hatred of George Bush– did not actually listen to what Barack Obama said during the campaign but they are hearing it now. It is a little late, but late is better than never. The Democrats have over-reached on healthcare reform and the American people are upset, but there is always the chance that by the time November rolls around that Americans would forget how upset they are right now. But if the Democrats keep opening up their mouths and continue to let their true feelings known, the American people will not forget. We will be energized when November rolls around and we will correct the error that was made in November of 2008.

We need to get this out there because the mainstream media will not. The Democrats are finally admitting the truth. Hopefully more people are paying attention now than were during the last election.

To whom much is given BY GOD, much is expected to others, all to the glory of God. The Bible also says that the poor will always be with us. I think Robin Hood himself may be horrified at Max Baucus. For House Democrats to take the Bible out of context, if that is the case, leaves me speechless. When they take the Constitution and the B.O.R. out of context, I want to scream and throw up. But the Bible? i have not heard of more dangerous behavior.

Thank you! They just can’t help themselves. If only the media would cover this, but we will do their job for them. We will not let this die!

High wages, capital gains, and profits are evil.
    Inherited wealth, when it’s his,
    not so much.

    Path to Power
Baucus was born Dec. 11, 1941, in Helena, Mont., the fifth-generation heir to a Montana ranching fortune.

His great-grandfather, Henry Sieben, started the 125,000-acre Sieben ranch, featured in the film A River Runs Through It, and Sieben is in the Cowboy Hall of Fame.

Funny how when people like Baucus talk about the wealthy being too wealthy they forget that they are not talking about themselves.

Keep up the good work and encourage putting God back in America. We have to remember God does not leave us…..we leave Him. Washington is a pit of vipers. Obama is worried about the snakes in the Everglades…I’m more worried about the snakes in our government.

funny how the constant ‘ wealth re distribution’ compares to the FACT : since 1980 , average income, exec. > worker has gone form 30 > one to 300 to one. from 30 : 1 exec worker to 300 to one. that is the FACT of ‘income redistribution. ‘. in the wrong direction I would say.

look at a charty of national debt , 1950 > on. flat, a little down to 1980. then, big leap in nat. debt. WHY ? VOODOO.

With the balance of wealth shifting faster to the top 1% than ever before… isn’t redistribution a good thing for the people?

This is a good thing. The bottom 50% of Americans take home criminally low percentage of the nation’s wealth. There’s no reason why the top 1% should be bringing in more than the bottom 50% combined. If anything we need much stronger wealth redistribution measures to be taken.

Here is another corrupt senator who has clearly abused public funds for his personal agenda. After watching the Weiner fiasco, Max’s sexual interludes take on a whole new light. For a good laugh, check out this post on the wayward exploits of our senators (mostly look at the image–it is a riot): http://identitynoise.com/blog/?p=755

Based on his actions, I feel Max Baucus is bought and paid for by the unions. I live in Montana, so unlike your average American, I get to pay “twice” for his abuse of the public sector. This woman and his affair with her is clearly evidence of that abuse.

He has good timing, since Weiner went down in flames, he can reveal his own dirty “staffer laundry” and try to get away with it while the public eye is “diverted” to the horrors of Weiner.

    Hello,

Max Baucus is a socialist who has been bought off by the unions.

He also has a lot of power and has succeeded in having my blog (www.identitynoise.com) removed from google search. My blog is so good, that they bribed someone at google to remove it because it makes them look bad.

If you doubt this, search on Jon Tester and socialist or Max baucus and socialist on Yahoo or Bing. my blog comes up on top or near the top. If you search on google, it has been removed. My blog deals with union corruption and related topics.
