Joe Kennedy III calls for an end to cheap oil

April 18, 2012

The title of this post is not a misprint; Joe Kennedy III is running for Barney Frank’s vacated House seat and he believes it is time to put an end to the era of cheap oil.

Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama — they’ve all talked  about the same thing: the need to wean ourselves off our debilitating dependence  on foreign oil,” Kennedy wrote.

“The cycle that allows cheap oil to trump tough choices has to stop,” he  continued. “Forty years is enough”

Barack Obama once promised that energy prices would necessarily skyrocket under his plan, and he also once stated that he didn’t have a problem with the high price of gas when Bush was president, he only wish the price rose more slowly so people had a chance to get used to it. It appears to me as if Joe Kennedy III and Barack Obama are on the same page on this issue.

At a time when are Americans are struggling, in part due to the high price of gas, it appears as if Joe Kennedy is out of touch with  the people he wants to represent and more interested in pushing his  green agenda even if it hurts the people he claims to care so much about. He does not have a problem with the high price of gas because he thinks this will force people to look at green energy alternatives. All we have to do is look at Solyndra, SunPower, SoloPower, Abound Solar, Solar Trust, and BrightSource (a company in which Robert Kennedy Jr. just happens to be the largest shareholder) to see the fallacy of this policy.

These companies combined received billions of dollars of federal money and yet all failed because the technology isn’t there at this time, and here we have Joe Kennedy III who appears ready to push Barack Obama’s failed green energy initiative if he is able to beat Sean Bielat in November.

Make no mistake, Joe Kennedy III, Hugo Chavez’ cheap oil for Americans bitch, will beat any repub running for anything in Massachusetts. The electorate that kept Barney Bendover in power all those years surely must be ejaculating over the prospect of bringing back another thought to be dead Kennedy. Once in the spotlight he will be in a great position to help revive that king of frauds, Algae Gore. Aye laddies, I see many a green year in all our futures.

Sadly I fear you are right. JKIII will probably win based on name recognition alone. The man he is running against is the man who lost to Frank the last time around by ten points.

Typical of a progressive liberal elite trust fund baby to decide what is in the best interest of the common man – but then some one has to take Teddy’s place.

.Amazing thing about the Kennedy’s no matter how hard you try to get rid of them another one just seems to pop up in their predecessor’s place. Like cockroaches you just can’t seem to get rid of them….WM

Didn’t he hold “Tip” O’Neill’s seat for a spell before he had to resign or be forced out?

I’d say “Cockroach” is entirely apt.

I don’t think this is the same Kennedy. JKIII was living in his mother’s basement until he decided to run, he then moved out because he wasn’t in the district and delcared he wasn’t running on his family name but on his record. Of course, he doesn’t have a record.

Oh goody! Another crony capitalist green energy pimp. Just what the country needs. When will people learn that you can not force the future to fit your agenda. Alternate energy innovations will come when they are ready and they won’t need government subsidies to help them.

So true Jim, there may he a future for green energy but it isn’t here yet and instead of waiting until the technology is there this regime is trying to force it down our throats and JKIII will be a willing accomplice.

Why don’t WE call for an end to the Kennedy’s? They have been trying to destroy this nation for far too long now..
