Video: Allen West’s speech at the Lincoln Day Dinner

May 6, 2012

Below is a speech which I found at The Right Scoop that Allen West made at the Lincoln Day Dinner and I had to share it because it is just that good. I can not do this speech justice with my words so I will leave it to Allen West to speak for me. The video is about twenty minutes long but I implore everyone to please watch it because this is one politician who gets it.

The Right Scoop calls this the most incredible speech ever, and taking into account that Allen West quotes one of my heroes, General Stonewall Jackson, I would be hard-pressed to disagree.

A few hundred more like Allen West and we could fix this country.

It is inconceiveable to me why Romney and the establishment would not embrace Rep. Allen West as VP. He’s the real mccoy, a proven leader of impeccable character, and a proud and unapologetic patriot. Hope the GOP wakes up. THe country needs Allen West to get this country back on a constitutional, commonsense foundation.

Allen West is exactly what we need right now. The rumor I have heard is that Romney will not pick a VP who might outshine him and will pick a boring candidate that won’t take the focus off of him and that is exactly the wrong path to take in my opinion. We need a fighter; Romney isn’t but West is.
