Barack Obama defends Susan Rice for lying about the Benghazi attack

November 14, 2012

Barack Obama held a press conference today and while that is news in and of itself we learned something today that I find to be quite interesting indeed.

When Barack Obama was asked about Susan Rice and her appearance on several different Sunday morning television talk shows five days after the attack on the United States consulate in Benghazi which left four American heroes dead–you know, the shows where she repeatedly lied about the attack having been born out of a peaceful protest over a You Tube video–he actually admitted that he was the one who sent her out there with the misinformation.

As I said before, she made an appearance at the request of the White House in which she gave her best understanding of the intelligence that had been provided to her

According to Barack Obama the White House sent her out there and she was simply repeating the latest intelligence she had at that time. That is very interesting because we already know that the attack on the consulate was watched in real time, and we already know that it was known by virtually everybody that this was a terrorist attack which was unrelated to any peaceful protest within two hours of the attack if not sooner. So who told her to repeat this lie over and over again?

But that’s not all because I also seem to remember a presidential debate with Mitt Romney in which Barack Obama claimed to have linked the attack to terrorism on September 12th, the day after the attack, so it seems quite strange that if Barack Obama was telling the truth in that debate that he would send Susan Rice out there to spread the lie. Of course at that time Barack Obama was still under the belief that the truth could be hidden from the American people.

Barack Obama spoon fed the story to Susan Rice that he wanted promulgated and she was all too willing to do so and now today Barack Obama is coming to her defense, but in doing so he seems to have implicated himself in the cover up.

Let’s get real here kiddies. Just as the O man has declared that his victory is his mandate from the voters to raise taxes doesn’t the same hold true for his lying about everything from Rev Wright’s sermons to Benghazi, Petra is and Allen? Even the dead voted for him and his lies. If that’s not a wink and a nod then what is? Once he corn holed Romney into keeping mum about Benghazi in the third debate the fat lady had sung. This floppy eared imposter is home free.

Obama and Crowley managed to neuter Romney on Benghazi and the Republicans as a whole left the story alone. Now we have another four years of Obama and we can expect more scandal which could have been avoided if we elected Romney instead.

Crowley broke the rules in her zeal to help Obama. The mainstream media made all of this possible. Pat Caddell was right when he called them “an enemy of the people”. Shame on them, they are totally disregarding the role of the first amendment. Part of their job is to protect the American people from such corruption.

Why is it that people haven’t asked why Crowley just happened to have the transcript of Obama’s September 12th speech at the debate? There is no doubt this was a set up and this was planned by the leftists. It worked, it threw Romney off his game and he never recovered on this issue.

Yes he certainly did implicate himself, as will the evidence. As for attacking and threatening the Senators, as always he forgets he is not a king and we are not his subjects. They are the elected representatives of the people, they are acting on behalf of the people, and they are doing so because he has forced them to do so. Thank god for the wisdom of the founding fathers who set up our government this way. Once more, they save us with their wise forsight. What he needs to be worried about is his own butt, Rice will not face impeachment but before this is through, he will be looking at just such a trial.

Never happen. Obama esta El Rey de Los estados unidos and he knows it. His administration and assorted sycophants in the MSM and elsewhere will vie for the opportunity to fall on the sword for this guy, or so it seems. When all else fails he will use the constitution as a lifeline even while he is attempting to suborne it. Just as Stalin said we will sell them the rope they will hang us with so will this communist destroy this country using our constitution as his tool with which to legitimize his actions.

I would agree with you but I am still holding out hope that this time he might have pushed it a little too far. You are probably right but I am not willing to admit it yet.

Lol at esta El Rey de Los estados unidos. We have delt with Kings before, . An army of farmers and mountaineers overcame King George. The playing field is a bit different today however. Ah, sadly what you say is true. But I am not so certain he will succeed. There may be just enough spirit left in this country that people will demand their representatives take this on full bore. What blows my mind is the sheer ignorance and indifference of those who elected this administration. They have clue what they did, and they don’t give a damn about this country. How long have we been sleeping?

That’s a great point Southpaw, Barack Obama seems to forget at times that he is not all powerful and is not above reproach. This is just one more part of the constitution that bothers Obama and I for one am tired of his attitude when he finds out he can’t always get his way.

But, isn’t he beyond reproach? Surely he is! For some reason he feels he can do and say what he wants and attack anyone he wants. I would love to see him taken down by this, but he has so much cover, who knows if it will ever happen. At this point he has told so may lies, that I doubt he can keep track of what he has said or not said. Maybe some in Congress are getting a little fed up with him, but there will be others that will try and shut them up. You know we can’t get too far out of hand before he slaps us down with something else to put us in our place. I really hate this administration, ALL of them. None of them are fit for the positions they have held for the past 4 years and surely not for the coming 4 years that he is going to try and push on us. He is such a smart ass and now he can show his butt anytime he wants, who is going to step up and confront him?

The reason he feels as if he can say and do whatever he pleases is because so far he has been able to. Because of this he feels he can keep pushing the envelope and extend his authority to sese how far he can take it. It is time for the Congress to stand up to him and I am still hoping he took this cover up just a little too far.

Well Steve, I am holding out that our system of government will prevail and our representatives will hold his feet to the fire. I think alot depends on the public. McCain, Graham and Ayotte are demanding a Watergate type trial which would be Kryptonite to those responsible for this. If enough people demand this, it could happen. And it is possible to rally the people to do so. Just look at the Tea Party. Whoever heard of the 6 years ago? Fifty Six million Americans do not vote for this administration. Right now at least 80 thousand Texans and thousands more in every state are filing petetions to secceed from the Union for God’s sake. If all of these stood together and demanded a Watergate type trial it’s a safe bet to say they would have it. I hope.

I too am holding out hope that our system will bring Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, as well as everyone else who is responsible, to justice but you are right. It is up to us to keep the pressure on our elected officials to get to the bottom of this, if we don’t we can’t trust them to do the right thing.

Obama said Rice didn’t have anything to do with Benghazi so he doesn’t understand why the Republicans are attacking her. Well, okay. Why did the White House someone out who knew nothing to spread a story the White House knew wasn’t true?
I’m wondering if the Republicans have enough backbone to force the truth out of this administration?

That is a great question Jim! If she had nothing to do with Benghazi then why did he choose her to be the public face, shouldn’t it have been Hillary? She became part of the story when she went on tv and lied, and even though Obama doesn’t like it; if she is going to be Secretary of State this most certainly should be an issue asked of her.

He put her out there as his puppet. If she chose to be put in that position, then she needs to take whatever comes her way. All of a sudden, she is a female and can not be attacked? He rides in to “protect” her?? Give me a break, he can protect NOTHING. He is showing the other side of himself rather quickly, isn’t he? I figured he would hold that back for awhile, but I think he just can not help himself now, he wants us all to know who he is, as if we did not know before.

He’s got nothing to lose now so the true Obama, which he has been trying to hide for years now, is goint to come out and I expect us to see an even more confrontational Obama and a man who really gets angry and agitated when people oppose him.

Steve and SP, it has always been there, this arrogance, most people I feel mistakenly thought it was intelligence and reserve…how wrong they are/were. The media can be very fickle and I wonder after 4 years of being put in their place, will they finally have their fill of this man (term used lightly) and come out swinging? They can switch sides in a heart beat, that they have gone 4 years in his pocket shocks me. I also thought the older more seasoned journalists would see thru him, so wonder if they were bought somehow for their silence? I would love to see the days of the 40’s or 50’s where a journalist, no matter the party affiliation came out with all the juicy information….sigh!!!! I do think we are going to start seeing his anger start coming out full force, especially when it starts getting too close to his position of being “in the know”. He will take anyone down with him that he can, don’t the others see that? To be loyal to a man (term used lightly) like him is a very dangerous position to be in, but maybe they are cut from the same cloth and just don’t know any other way.

I had alot typed, but the puter shut down on me, I hate when that happens…however I will use that in my comment! I probably hit a button to do this, but IF I were from this administration, I would blame Toshiba or Comcast, etc….You remember when we were growing up??? Well, it was always someone elses fault when something bad happened, right? Most the time it didn’t seem to work out that way, the ADULTS figured it out…so…this administration has that juvenile mentality of “it was YOU, not ME” when it comes to anything happening. They have not gotten past that stage in life, where as an ADULT you take the blame if it is yours to take. If this is the best American has to offer for “decision makers”, we need to do a total revamp of our school system, because they are putting out inferior quality education.

They are hoping that the media will run with the big bad conservatives attacking an innocent female…this is gettin so stupid, isn’t it?

That is a good point Lou, nobody attacked her. McCain was just saying he would oppose her based on what happened after Benghazi and yet Barack Obama turned that around on him to make it look like McCain was the bad guy.

You know Steve this is all about rewarding Ambassador Rice for her being a good little soldier and doing the bidding of the WH. Also did you catch the warning he gave Petraeus. He said as of now there is no evidence that classified secrets were compromised. In my opinion he was sending Petraeus a message. As of now…We’re waiting to see what Mr. Petraeus is going to testify to. Depending on what he says will decide if evidence of classified material be compromised exist or not. Scary stuff. We live in dangerous times my friend.

That is very interesting John, I hadn’t caught that at all but I think you are right and Obama probably does have more on Petraeus than we know about. Obama is taking out his political enemies there are now several high ranking military officers who he has either removed from duty or demoted in recent months. Scary times indeed…..

John, I have to wonder if this was a massive set up or not! A man of his rank and background “could” fall into this situation, but we know that fraud runs rampant in this administration and maybe they were just doing a “Plan B”, if the first plan didn’t work. They don’t care who they take down as long as it is not them. If it was poor judgement on Petraeus’s part, then he deserves what he gets, but I have to question the timing and the information that is freely flowing now. Any other time, it would be locked up tight and they would sent Holder out to fend off any accusations. So, I have to think that maybe they WANTED this information out there. Nothing makes sense sometimes and things seem far fetched, but look at who we are dealing with!!!

He was set up in my opinion; Obama had the goods on him and forced him to back up the regime’s story, which he did. Then they forced him to come clean and resign when he was no longer useful. CNN is reporting that he will amend his original statement to say he knew this was terrorism from the beginning. I hope this report is true.

In the final analysis all we have standing between Obama and his evolving anarchy eminating from the Oval Office and his plans for the conquest of what we used to call the american people is the House of Representatives . Doesn’t that put you at ease? Once his Benghazi business is put to rest the next item on el Rey’s hit list will be the second amendment. An armed citizenry will be all that stands in his way. Maybe he can triangulate with the U.N. nations who would welcome the opportunity to invade and disarm us. On second thought the U.N. with billions of dollars couldn’t kill a tse-tse fly; so bring it on.
