Iran threatens to hang a United States pastor, where is Barack Obama?
An American-Iranian pastor has been imprisoned in Iran for several months for the crime of being a Christian in a country where the religion of peace rules the day. According to a letter Saeed Abedini sent to his family last week, the Iranian government is threatening to hang him for being a Christian and an apostate.
The United States State Department has said they are concerned about this situation; hopefully more concerned than they were with the situation in Benghazi for we all know how that turned out.
And where is Barack Obama? Why has he not spoken out against this? But of course this is the same Barack Obama who didn’t bother to try to free US marine Jon Hammar while he spent four months in a Mexican jail, and this is the same Barack Obama who failed to send help in Benghazi while four Americans fought for their lives, so I guess I just answered my own questions.

Well gee. you know that The One is busy planning his coronation right now. Then he will probably need a vacation and then there is that debt ceiling thing. maybe after all of that he could talk to his buddy, Morsi, who now is making nice to Iran. Or, maybe he doesn’t give a dam. I’m leaning toward the latter.

I think it is all of the above!

Short of an Iranian gun boat firing on a American ship in the Gulf Obama will do very little or nothing. After all what truely meaningful steps has he taken to slow the Iranian march toward the bomb—-a much bigger issue. The American pastor committed two fatal sins (according to the Iranians)—first preaching Christianity to muslims, but far more serious converting to Christianity. They are unforgiving on the latter. Obama should speak out on this and I for one don’t pretend to understand, unless its something in his muslim upbringing.

And don’t forget, Iran has our drone and Obama has done nothing but ask them to give it back pretty please.

Unfortunately, I believe you did answer your own question. President Obama can not be counted on to do what is right in these situations.
