Hillary Clinton on the Benghazi cover-up: “What difference does it make?”
The big news from Hillary Clinton’s testimony in front of the Congress today was her angered response to the question about the lie perpetrated on the American people for weeks about the reason behind the terrorist attack in Benghazi on September 11th of last year, but before I get to that I would like to touch upon something else first.
And that is this: twice Hillary Clinton tried to portray herself as the victim in an attempt to draw sympathy and alleviate the criticism she has come under. She tried to claim that the State Department was a victim of under-funding but that is something that Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Diplomatic Security Charlene Lamb denied during sworn testimony last October.
And here is what John Boehner had to say about this:
We gave them all the money they asked for to make sure that our diplomats and our employees around the world were safe.” Boehner said. “It’s clear that her own people in Libya asked for additional security, and it’s also clear their request was rejected, and I think the secretary needs to explain why. In all, it’s all part of our bigger concern that this is their ‘lead from behind’ strategy. We’ve only seen passive responses to the rise of extremism and terrorist networks in places like Egypt or Tunisia or Libya and now Algeria. America has to lead in the effort to combat violent extremism and terrorism wherever it appears. And yet this White House seems content to watch passively and respond only if necessary
Strike one.
She also tried to gain sympathy by making the Benghazi attack a personal issue by invoking the spirit of Barack Obama from the third debate with Mitt Romney when he mentioned greeting the flag draped coffins after the attack. Here is what she had to say:
spoke tearfully of having “stood next to President Obama as the Marines [who] carried those flag-draped caskets off the plane at Andrews.”
“I put my arms around the mothers and fathers, the sisters and brothers, the sons and daughters,” she said. “And the wives left alone to raise their children
Is there any doubt what the motive here was? It was the same motive Barack Obama had during that debate I mentioned above. Sorry Hillary but you are not a victim.
Strike two.
Okay, now let us get to Hillary Clinton’s remark about the Benghazi cover-up and why it does matter. Hillary Clinton grew very angry when this question came up and wanted to know why it mattered what the reason for the terrorist attack was.
It was actually a clever answer because it deflected the real issue; the issue is no longer about why the attack took place, but rather why the Obama regime was lying to us for weeks about the reason behind the attack.
Barack Obama campaigned partly on his foreign policy successes and he did this by making the claim that al Qaeda was on the run and fractured. The Benghazi attack flew in the face of that claim so the Obama regime had to downplay the attack in order for Barack Obama to maintain his credibility, thus the cover-up in order to help the president win reelection. And that is the best case scenario, the true reason could be much worse.
The Obama regime could also have been trying to cover-up the fact that no reinforcements were sent in to help the two marines who fought gallantly for seven hours trying to save the life of Chris Stevens even though help was only an hour away and they had laser positioning on the mortar which was firing on the compound.
Or the reason could be worse still: it is quite possible that the Obama regime was running guns captured after the fall of Qadhafi through Benghazi and into Syria to support that rebellion. Why was Chris Stevens in Benghazi when everyone knew the situation on the ground was deteriorating in the region and was he sacrificed in order to keep this a secret once the attack began?
When you take into account the fact that the only person who has been held responsible for the attack is the American film-maker I would say the question is very relevant indeed. And then when you take into account that it is now being reported that some of the people behind the terrorist attack in Benghazi are some of the same people behind the attack in Algeria last week and I would say that the question is very meaningful. Why is it that a film-maker is in jail while those responsible for the attack were allowed to fight another day?
Strike three Hillary, you’re out!
Susan Rice appeared on television five days after the attack when it was known this was not the result of a protest to the You Tube video and lied to the American people, and a full two weeks after the attack Barack Obama stood in front of the United Nations and kept the lie going even though he knew the truth. So yes this does still matter because the American people deserve to know why their government was lying to them and we deserve to know what the government is still hiding to this day.

When being questioned today about security measures, Clinton filibustered and never gave anybody a straight and honest answer. One female congresswoman from Florida really grilled and nailed her. Hillary said they needed to 1.3 billion dollars to upgrade embassy buildings and to provide security for our personnel. Th lady from Florida pointed out that the Secretary Of State and the State Department have been allocated 1.4 billion for Global Climate Warming Initiatives, and asked why they did not drop this Grand Scam and Boondoggle, and use 1.3 billion to do the Security Measures and that would still leave .1 billion which is a hundred million dollars to be put back in the USA Treasury. This kind of nonsense spent by our Bureaucratic Agencis is the very reason that we have a 16 trillion dollar deficit and under the Obama Regime, they are adding about 1.6 trillion annually to the already 16 trillion dollar debt, 6 trillion of which Obama ran up in only 4 years in his first term.

How come no one asked her why her ambassdor was helping the CIA run gunes to Syria. Or, who were the 33 people rescued and sent to Germany and why has no press been allowed to interview them? The nned the head of the CIA to testify before the committee after being properly waterboarded, of course. \

As I wrote previously, these hearings which are nothing more than exercises in futility with Hillary gaining valuable political credits for her superhuman performance as what ever the hell she supposedly is and does while dragging her fat ass in those outdated pants suits across 1 million miles and 100 countries. She and her state department have a more important important agenda at hand which is spreading the Arab Spring to Algeria and smuggling arms to any rising insurgency, arms that will eventually killing Americans. We have anarchy at the highest levels of government and either don’t know it or are afraid to say it. Obama is correct about at least one thing, there is no opposition party worthy of his attention

Thanks fr the link Harrison, I do read Ulsterman from time to time but haven’t been there in awhile. WHI dippeared after the election because the Republicans cancelled a big effort they were going to make on Benghazi and now I think we kow why. They are in on te cover-up as well, it makes you wonder what is really going on.

I read Ulsterman, as well, Harrison…good stuff there. WHI stopped by just recently. WSI is another good one to hear from. Not sure what I think of RI just yet, too soon to tell. Sometimes things are a bit off the wall, but then again, they usually happen, might just take a bit of time.

I penned the following shortly after the this atrocity and then the lies began to surface.
And, now they are caught in another Official Lie as relates to the murder by terrorists of our Ambassador to Libya. The entire Obama Regime Reported that the attack on the Libyan Embassy was during a riot concerning a two bit You Tube Video made by an amateur. The attack and murder of Christopher Stevens was due to the Incompetence and Complicity of the Obama Regime and his State Department lead by one of Obama’s Fellow Incompetent Communists, Hillary Clinton, and repeated by her subordinates and Aped Over and Over by all the USA Media, both print and electronic and especially ON TV where the Lie was intentionally told over and over with no concern for the Truth. I am happy Congress is finally Calling the Obama Regime out on their Official Lies. And, of course Susan Rice, Ambassador to the U.N. Was also out front and center promoting the same lie.
But, in the end, the congress will do nothing but threaten to huff and puff, and in the end, tuck their tales and go home for Christmas Break, come back next session and begin Spending and Taxing and Raising the Debt Ceilings and running up 1 to 2 trillion dollar deficits annually.

There is one very large cover up going on and nobody is following up to get to the real story the surviving relations of those murdered as well as the American people deserve. This poor excuse for a Secretary of State has had how many weeks to rehearse and prepare for the Senate hearing???? She says she accepts full responsibility but where is the accountability? Someone needs to pay for sleeping on the job or more horrible, letting it happen as they knew it was going on and could have responded appropriately saving those who died and making sure that the world knows WE DO NOT STAND DOWN. Until this tyrant is removed from office, he will continue to spew his hate culture and take our freedoms and rights before the dumbded down majority who blindly re-elected him finally realize what the hell is going on. I believe they really got scared when Mitt said he would put people back to work, that was more than they could take when they are freeloading on those who work hard to make a living. It is said that doing the right thing is hard, the election has proven that since those who voted for him seem to following the wrong path he is creating. So now we have Obama for as long as he can continue to wear his teflon shield and spout off on how wrong things have been, what a waste of a gifted tounge but then he is only the puppet of a far greater socialist movement. I watched a video of Hillary Clinton and her outrage over being asked repeatedly about the fact that the protests were not real. Methinks there is a lot going on that we do not know about and the powers that be have no intention of allowing us to learn the truth. It is disgusting that we are being kept in the dark.

It appears as if Hillary was given the questions beforehand and was allowed to take notes to the hearing in order to answer the questions she knew were coming. The GOP caved and one has to wonder what they have to hide as well.

I missed the hearings but my fertile imagination easily figured out before seeing news clips, gratuitous to that NY Yankees fan from Chi-Town Hillary C, what went on. The Obama – Clinton machine continues to roll on across North Africa unscathed by disgraces which may have in the past brought on wholesale administration beheadings.

Personally, I think Hillary knows a lot more than she is telling, I think she has *all the dirt* and could possibly bring down some powerful people if she *spilled it*.. I was in the hospital during that time. As you know hospitals have maybe five channels to choose from. I watch all this unfold. The exhausted efforts and futile attempts and phone calls coming out of the camp for help. These news channels were unfolding the truth before they got word to stop. For weeks the people were begging for more security and explaining the threat on their safety. Never arrived and when the attack took place help took hours to arrive. Questions were as by media then of why the delay and lack of attention given when help was begged for. Then the reports stopped. I asked everyone at home what happened and they had no idea any Bengazi attack happened at all. This was too close to a political destruction for the American Government. Hillary clinton is absolutely to blame, she was fully aware of that attack. This was a terrorist attack and everyone in government is always made aware at the moment such things are happening. But as we all know: if you don’t know how to respond, say nothing. Most times the passion of the attack will subside, as it has proven to do in ths case as well. If Obama wanted to be President and Hillary was to be a future president the terrorist information needs to be proving to be subsiding due to the present American Government. The comment of the US selling guns after the last riot I did not hear but it would be no surprise. In the past fifty years it has been common knowledge that it is cheaper to sell off weapons to smaller countries that to ship home.
Does Hillary, Obama or any other with this event from weeks before through weeks after? Of course not. The goal is change the subject to something that focusses on America’s strength. We strongly fight for freedom of choice for a woman the freedom to obtain an abortion. True freedom of choice is important, however they are not teaching freedom to choose. They are being taught to choose abortion. These girls are not being shown the baby at 6-8 weeks. they never see the babies beating heart. To make a choice all information needs to be provided. We the people elected our government, from mayor to president. We elected them to make many choices for us to carry out our vote. It was our mistake because we gave them the freedom to vote on our behalf running our financial security into poverty. The sorry part about this is that our television is now censored and our children will only hear in school or see on TV what the government chooses to expose. I spoke to my 20 year old son but he has no interest in hearing about something he feels he has no control over. Their present is a fascist economic government and as long as these words are not used there will be continued evolution n that direction. Communism is possible under other terminology as soon as God and freedom of religious practices are eliminated. Our next generation will not see it coming because the empathy of the reality of suffering that these forms of government take total hold. We are 40% there already and you can see that on your pay stub if you are a W2 employee. grand parents need to teach the grandchildren the harsh reality of what their lives are headed for before the children of these children are forced to wage civil war. Do something while we have hope.Teach them history always repeats the past. They will them understand how to go about change without riot or marches.
