Barack Obama releases a picture of himself skeet shooting

Last week Barack Obama made the statement that he skeet shoots all the time at the White House. This was an assertion that even Jay Carney had trouble trying to defend because everybody knew that Barack Obama was lying.
When I heard Barack Obama’s statement I knew it was only a matter of time before the propaganda machine issued a Putin-like picture of Barack Obama proving that he was in fact a skeet shooter and today the White House did just that.
Putting his poor form aside, I have only one question: If Barack Obama is really skeet shooting here why is he aiming straight ahead?

First thing I noticed too Steve, with the picture being just after firing, it appears the barrel is 1 maybe 2 degrees up, but only because of the recoil. Maybe in obamas world dove n ducks aren’t allowed to fly higher than 6 feet?

Where is his shooting vest or bag? Did he get bruises on his shoulder and cheek from the way he was holding? Was he catching that “skeet” on the way up or down? Last I remember those “skeet” are going in an upwards motion, unless you are VERY slow. Dark glasses as opposed to amber ones? I am left handed, why is his watch on his left hand? A lefty never wears his/her watch on the left hand, it interferes with writing. Sure looks like a set up to me.

One always shoots left handed when lefty skeet is in the air. In sure he’s won his share of stuffed animals at the Kenyan carnivals’ water gun booths. Don’t be surprised if baked skeet soon appears on the public schools’

I have shot a lot of shotguns and never ever saw one that was ported-like the one he is shooting,only discharge the smoke out one side-impossible and defeats the purpose of the porting.
Anyone ever shoot skeet without a pouch full if shells ? I guess its possible he had a loader but I never seen one for skeet-driven birds not skeet.
Photo was does the same day his schedule had him golfing 18 holes,possible but when does he play President???

it was probably a low-recoil round or a blank. a blank is more likely, as they usually produce more signature like the smoke seen. and he was probably coached…but honestly, if it was his first (and last) time you would expect someone to coach him.
shooting vest? bag? box of shells? do you REALLY think His Lordship loads his own shotgun? please. he hands it to a lackey who deals with the offending empty rounds.
still, this is a red herring. shortly after this was produced we should have have had a collective “so what? we don’t care if you shoot skeet or not” because..well..it really doesn’t matter. at all. I have the same thoughts on this picture as if he had produced a picture of him juggling chainsaws. it is 100% irrelevant to the topic at hand. at most, it turns him from hoplophobe to fudd, neither of which I have any patience or time for.

Upon closer inspection you can see the position of the stock against his shoulder would have caused considerable pain from the recoil. If afterwards he shot (pun intended) his usual round of golf that same day then he really is the superman we all believe him to be.
