Deport 95 percent of congress . let them clean up Iraq . In the meantime Oregon is being destroyed by the invasion.
Its not just the Mexicans, the State Department dumps refugees on us too. we are 11th in the nation for refugees, and 11th in unemployment. Every illegal alien and anchor baby and every immigrant displaces a working class American or a student or a disabled person.
Our rents are sky-high -most likely due to the invasion, because we had cheap rents until about 1990 when everyone started moving to Oregon. Even our state forests are taken over by the Mexican drug cartel for planting pot.

I think that there are a couple additional things going on in regards to the difference in treatment. First, Palin and the media never became friends. I remember when she was first nominated that she came out swinging at the liberal media. The denial of access to her by the McCain campaign did not help this in any way because the media had to start digging because people wanted to know more about her. On the other hand, Obama and Clinton had a relationship and they were able to use that relationship to their advantage.

Second, Palin's resignation was completely out of the blue. Politicians do not make an abrupt resignation like this unless there is a scandal involved. Again, people were wanting to know more about this. When she did not give a "reasonable" explanation (she's staying mum on her presidential aspirations), the media was forced to theorize and speculate. Given the accusation in respects to troopergate, it was only a matter of time before negative theories would be explored. With Obama and Clinton, it was rather obvious why they left their respective offices.

Claire McCaskill is right on this one--a step in the RIGHT direction to coin a phrase. She believes in the myth of man-made global warming, but as you say faces the reality of the voters in what is a purple state now.

Corrected that for you... sorry I couldn't resist.

Interesting that they don't care about their constituents until their own head is on the block. Then they play a very different tune.

Barbara Boxer is an ignorant self serving whore that should be behind bars if a special prosecutor were to investigate her, guss what, no investigations on Democrats too much pressing business, but we have time to go over Bush alleged war crimes. She's up for re-election, unless you have an undiagnosed brain tumor or have had your head up your ass the last 16 years, she does not represent you, she looks out for her fortune and her husband Paul's business. Can you say no minimum wage in American Samoa where Paul is in an ownership position with Star Kist Tuna?

You're right. They're all selling snake oil and should be jailed for the destruction they are wreaking on our great country.
