Congress vs. commander in chief

This is a great article about congress’ role during wartime vs the president’s role. This article sums it up perfectly. I believe that most people in America that don't follow politics closely, and I believe that's most Americans, believe what congress is doing with the war funding bill is legitimate. In fact, telling the president when the troops must be withdrawn is unconstitutional.If they ever managed to over ride his veto it would lead straight to the supreme court for a constitutional showdown the likes of which we may have never seen before.
