Elizabeth Edwards is afraid of Her ‘Rabid Republican’ Neighbor

Elizabeth Edwards says she is afraid of her rabid Republican neighbor.

All this time I thought Democrats were the compassionate ones, they embrace diversity. They do as long as you are not conservative, that is one area they are not interested in diversification.

Here are a couple of interesting excerpts from the article:

The Edwards family has yet to meet Johnson in person.“I wouldn’t be nice to him, anyway,” Edwards said.

Edwards views Johnson as a “rabid, rabid Republican” who refuses to clean up his “slummy” property just to spite her family, whose lavish 28,000-square-foot estate is nearby on 102 wooded acres.

So she has never met him and has already decided she wouldn’t be nice to him anyway? That sounds like a real tolerant and caring person to me. She refers to him as rabid because he is a Republican.

In the second excerpt she refers to his property as slummy. What is not included in that excerpt is that his property is a 42 acre lot. That sounds like a pretty nice piece of land to me. I guess when your property is a 102 acre estate 42 acres would seem like a slum.

It looks like there are two Americas after all, when you look out of your estate and see a mere 42 acre piece of property and think it’s a slum, what is the world coming to.
