John Travolta’s Global Warming Hypocrisy
Here is another example of a celebrity who says do as I say not as I do. This is one of the most egregious examples yet. John Travolta even admits he shouldn’t be lecturing people about their lifestyles because of his lifestyle, but then he does it anyway.
“I’m probably not the best candidate to ask about global warming because I fly jets.
“I use them as a business tool though, as others do. I think it’s part of this industry – otherwise I couldn’t be here doing this and I wouldn’t be here now.”
There you have it, because he is a movie star it makes it okay to fly one of the five private jets he owns. He needs to make promotions, so that makes it okay. He says it’s part of the movie industry, I guess that makes it okay to have a carbon footprint that is 100 times the average person.
Clocking up at least 30,000 flying miles in the past 12 months means he has produced an estimated 800 tons of carbon emissions – nearly 100 times the average Briton’s tally.
Why does anyone take these people seriously? They want us to make sacrifices in our lives but are not willing to make their own sacrifices.
“It [global warming] is a very valid issue,” Travolta declared. “I’m wondering if we need to think about other planets and dome cities.
Other planets or dome cities? These people have lost their minds, although it would be a relief to find another planet that all these global warming alarmists could go to and leave the normal people alone.
