Muslim Women in France are able to Surgically Regain their Virginity

I wasn’t going to post about this originally, but I just found it too irresistible.

Women in France are able to have their hymen re-sewn which I guess qualifies her as a virgin again. The article refers to an increasing number of North African woman who are having this procedure. North African being code for Muslim women.

This 30-minute outpatient procedure, called “hymenoplasty” and costing between 1,500 and 3,000 euros ($2,000-$4,000), is increasingly popular among young women of North African descent in France.

“Many of my patients are caught between two worlds,” said Abecassis. They have had sex already but are expected to be virgins at marriage according to a custom that he called “cultural and traditional, with enormous family pressure”.

So this procedure removes the effect but it doesn’t remove the cause. Does this really change anything? Does this really change the past? I don’t think so. Are they just trying to fool their soon to be spouse or do they let them know they had this procedure?

A leading Muslim spokesman said Islam says bride and groom should be virgins before marriage, but did not take a clear stand for or against hymenoplasties.

What if the groom isn’t a virgin? What surgery can be done for him?

Can they have the damages from female circumcision fixed? Nope.
Yet another benefit from the ROP.
