Father runs on Field at Fenway Park…to Impress his Seven Year old Son

This is what being a father is coming to in the bay state? In order to impress his son a father runs onto the field during a Red Sox game. Unfortunately he was tackled, handcuffed , and arrested. What an impression. That’s the way to teach your child disrupting the peace. What would possibly lead a father to believe getting arrested would be a good life lesson for his son?

What makes this story more outrageous is that the man’s wife and father were also there because it was Mother’s Day. The family that charges the mound together stays together I guess.

“When I looked up and saw the shock on his face . . . it was not the look I was hoping for,” a heartsick Baggott, 37, said yesterday about being arrested on Mother’s Day in front of his family. “He’s the one I hurt the most out of all this.

Not the look he was hoping for? He really thought his son would think he was cool by these actions.I understand that this is a sort of lighthearted story, but the fact that people who think(or don’t think) like this are raising the next generation of Americans is a little scary.

Not to mention the next generation of Red Sox fans.
