John Murtha(D-PA) not to be Reprimanded for House Rules Violation

Thank God this man has a ‘D’ after his name, if it were an ‘R’ we would have heard calls for his resignation. There would be no waiting for a hearing to see if there was any wrongdoing. And knowing the way Republicans seem to react to controversy he would have stepped down.

Because he is a Democrat, reaction was different:

House Democrats rejected a Republican bid Tuesday to reprimand Rep. John Murtha, a senior lawmaker accused of threatening legislative reprisals against a GOP member who had crossed him.

This has been swept under the rug with no ripples in the ocean of the main stream media.

Whatever happened to the Democrats promise to run the most ethical congress in history?
