New Hampshire Soldier in Iraq Shares His Ongoing Story Part 4
August 6, 2007
The fourth installment of Jonathan Sistare, a New Hampshire soldier in Iraq appeared in the New Hampshire Union Leader today, and you can read it here.
I find it fascinating to read a first hand account of what is going on over there, and some of the feelings of one of our brave soldiers. In this entry he talks about some of the hard times and the heat of Summer in Iraq. He also talks about how he realizes how the American people are turning on the war, and asks for time to complete the mission. He says he is witnessing firsthand the birth of a nation, ans he hopes to one day look at a free and Democratic Iraq with pride and say, “I was part of that.”
