Jose Padilla Found Guilty of Supporting Terrorism

Today Jose Padilla was found guilty of supporting terrorism. This is one of the men that the left and the ACLU, actually that’s kind of redundent isn’t it, were up in arms about not getting a trial. Well he finally had his day in court and guess what, he will be doing the same thing he has been doing since 2002.

I am just thankful the jury did the right thing here as I was afraid they would let this man walk. I suppose now the ACLU is going to come out and say he could not get a fair trial because he was held for so long the jury pool was tainted and had pre-determined he must be guilty. After all the ACLU and Padilla do have the same ultimate goal of bringing down the USA and the same feeling of disdain for the USA. They will try anything to free this man and others like him.

The three were accused of being part of a North American support cell that provided supplies, money and recruits to groups of Islamic extremists. The defense contended they were just trying to help persecuted Muslims in war zones with relief and humanitarian aid.

Somewhere Rosie O’Donnell is frowning, this just shows that George W Bush was correct to keep this man behind bars, and I hope he stays there the rest of his life. I also hope the rest of his life isn’t very long, I believe a little prision justice would serve him well.

You’re right about the ACLU. I fear those people. I wouldn’t put it past them to challenge the jury’s decision and try to get this guy off on some sort of bias-based technicality…

“This guy is a terrorist asshole and people hate terrorists assholes, so we think he should be let off and released from prison on the basis that people don’t like terrorists and couldn’t give him a fair trial…”

    bah!
