A Recent Survey of Scientists Shows no Consensus on Global Warming

August 30, 2007

global-warming.jpg We have been told that the debate about man-made global warming is over. We have been told the science is settled. We have been told that scientists have a consensus, and that consensus is that global warming exists and that it is man-made. Apperently they don’t make consensuses like they used to, as you will see here.

In 2004, history professor Naomi Oreskes performed a survey of research papers on climate change. Examining peer-reviewed papers published on the ISI Web of Science database from 1993 to 2003, she found a majority supported the “consensus view,” defined as humans were having at least some effect on global climate change. Oreskes’ work has been repeatedly cited, but as some of its data is now nearly 15 years old, its conclusions are becoming somewhat dated.Medical researcher Dr. Klaus-Martin Schulte recently updated this research. Using the same database and search terms as Oreskes, he examined all papers published from 2004 to February 2007. The results have been submitted to the journal Energy and Environment, of which DailyTech has obtained a pre-publication copy. The figures are surprising.Of 528 total papers on climate change, only 38 (7%) gave an explicit endorsement of the consensus. If one considers “implicit” endorsement (accepting the consensus without explicit statement), the figure rises to 45%. However, while only 32 papers (6%) reject the consensus outright, the largest category  (48%) are neutral papers, refusing to either accept or reject the hypothesis.  This is no “consensus.”

Out of 528 papers written by scientists only 38 papres said that man is definitely responsible for global warming. That is a whopping 7%. We are being lied to on a daily basis, it is being taught as fact to our children while they are too young to offer or even conjure up an opposing view. Sometimes perceived truth is more important to people than actual truth. If we allow our children to be taught this preceived truth as actual truth it will soon be actual truth because there will be no other truth known. Did that even make sense, I know what it was supposed to mean, I hope it reads properly.

John Edwards recently said, as he stepped out of his private bus to board his private jet, that as president he would call on all Americans to sacrifice and give up their SUV’s to help save the planet. When asked about his absorbatant life style he said he came from nothing, worked hard, and he deserved it. Evidentally you, however, have not worked hard enough and do not deserve your SUV.
Edwards’ example is just one of many examples I could site that shows us the dangers of falling into the trap of the global warming hoax. On top of you sacrificing YOUR lifestyle so politicians can continue to live their’s you will also be taxed on your so-called carbon footprint. Global warming is a political issue, a money grap, and I hope everyone out there realizes it before it is too late and educates their children so they are not taxed into oblivion. If you don’t believe it is a trumped up political issue perhaps you could explain to me the 7% consensus on this as a scientific issue. Please do.

You should post at least part of this over here:

    Ban Dihydrogen Monoxide Now!

It’s an interesting post, but it came down to somebody asking me what it would take to convince me of global warming, since I was using the Penn and teller video to make a point as to why I don’t buy it. It has spawned some interesting conversation, and this post just feel right at the right time to support what I was trying to say. Kinda eerie actually 🙂 They were just talking about how consensus is how they base their support for global warming

Well, I went over there to post it for you, but you already beat me to it. So I desided to throw a little fuel on the fire instead.

Solution for global warming (global heat sink)

    Dear Sir

I am very much interested in saving over environment.

I am working on it from last 4 to 5 years.

Luckily I found one solution for global warming.

I designed equipment (global heat sink) which can solve this problem to some extent.

    It is simple and effective.

The cost of making it is also very low.

I will be glad to discuss regarding it.

I need your help in implementing this project.

I request you to share my ideas with the respected people who are working on it

Hope we can find a good solution for this problem of global warming.

    Regards
