Woman Jailed for Spilling Salt on Hamburger

 I don’t know if this story can possibly be true, but here goes anyway.

A McDonald’s employee spent a night in jail and is facing criminal charges because a police officer’s burger was too salty, so salty that he says it made him sick.

Kendra Bull was arrested Friday, charged with misdemeanor reckless conduct and freed on $1,000 bail.

Bull, 20, said she accidentally spilled salt on hamburger meat and told her supervisor and a co-worker, who ”tried to thump the salt off.”

  Okay, I think we can all agree that she should have thrown the burger away, but to spend the night in jail and face charges? It just happens that the man that got the salty burger was a police officer. This seems very petty to me, doesn’t the officer have criminals he could be going after? Aren’t there more important issues that he should be dealing with?

  This is the kicker in the story though:

Police said samples of the burger were sent to the state crime lab for tests.

  All this money and time wasted trying to prosecute this young woman when he should be on the streets protecting the woman he is prosecuting here. This man appears to be a power hungry son of a bitch who has nothing better to do then prosecute someone because he may have been embarrassed when he bit into a salty burger.
