Nevada Company is Flying the Mexican Flag Above the American Flag
Is this what it has come down to now? Flying the Mexican flag above the American flag as this business is doing? What is the motive for this? This article doesn’t mention why the flags are being flown improperly. If I had to guess I would say that the business in question has many Mexican workers, probably illegals, who work there and are trying to appease them. This is yet another example of America losing her culture, of Americans all to willing to help immigrants make America more like the country they left, than the country they hope to live in.
The article linked above says that the business flying the Mexican flag above the American flag is doing so illegally, I don’t believe that is the case. I don’t believe it is a crime to fly another country’s flag above the American flag, I do know however that it is improper flag etiquette to do so. The American flag should always be flown on top if on a single flagpole. If you fly the American flag and another country’s flag on separate flagpoles the American flag is supposed to still be flown higher than the other flag.
So while this company isn’t doing anything illegal, even though the article says they are, they are not conforming to the proper displaying of the flag.
I do find this to be repulsive however. Either the business knows this is wrong and is catering to the Mexicans, or they are ignorant of the proper way to display a flag. I think about the rallies we had in this country earlier this year where thousands of illegals gathered, waving Mexican flags instead of American flags, the flags of the country they supposedly want to belong to, and it makes me wonder.
America is slowly but surely losing her culture and we need to keep reminding the immigrants who come here that America is a great country, join our culture. Do not come here and expect us to join your’s. If we wanted to join your culture, we would go to your country. Please respect our laws and our culture, if you are not willing to at least do that then STAY OUT.

Ah, it actually is against the law! These bastards are not only being disrespectful, they are also breaking the law. USC Title 4 Ch 1 SS 7(g) states:
“When flags of two or more nations are displayed, they are to be flown from separate staffs of the same height. The flags should be of approximately equal size. International usage forbids the display of the flag of one nation above that of another nation in time of peace.”

Breaking these laws is actually punishable by fine and jail time. It would just mean that the government would have to put aside political correctness and show some balls and actually do something about it.

Thanks arclightzero, I had no idea that there were actually laws against this. I knew it was improper according to the regulations and etiquette of flying a flag, I didn’t know there were regulations for displaying the flag that when broken were punishable by law. It does being me to another question though, If there are already regulations on flag flying that are punishable by law, then how come the left is so against making it illegal to burn the flag?
Jay, I’m glad to see the outcry may have made this buisness owner correct this. I still would love to know the motivation behind it though, he had to know this wasn’t proper.

We need to show more sympathy for these people.
* They travel miles in the heat.

My neighborhood used to be, when i boutht my house, years ago, ( it is paid now, but i can not sell it !!!)) it used to be mainly retired militars from the USA Air Force iMPECABLE! TODAY !! i am surrounded by latin people, mainly mexicans, which i can bet that they do not have documents in order by the way they live. i wont bore you with a list of things they do, but now i have a neigbor who displays the mexican flag on the highest point, at top of his roof . Since all are concern about this matters, i think. HOw could we solve the invation by ALL OF US, getting a document which would define our status in this country ! USA!!!????? WE DONT HAVE TO DEPORT THEM IF WE MAKE IT IMPOSIBLE FOR THEM TO INVADE ! either we go and give up our country or do what we are supposed to do!! Check also the amount of money that goes out of USA to all countries, youtube, look for congressman POE and help or money we send out all over the wolrd .

Wrong. All national flags are to be flown at the same height.
