Obama’s Plan for the Environment: Tax, Tax, Tax

“No business will be allowed to emit any greenhouse gases for free,” he said. “Businesses don’t own the sky, the public does, and if we want them to stop polluting it, we have to put a price on all pollution.”

   That quote was made by Barack Obama.Before I get to my point I have a question. If the public owns the sky, not businesses,(I don’t agree with the premise but I will grant him it for the sake of argument), and members of the public own the businesses, doesn’t that mean that the businesses do in fact own the sky?

  The point I want to make here is that once again you can see the true underlying agenda of global warming. Somebody has to pay, damnit. Now, liberals like to hide behind the smokescreen of raising taxes on the rich and on BIG BUSINESS, not just on this issue, but in taxation in general. But really who pays the taxes when businesses are taxed. THE CONSUMER, you and I. Any taxes imposed on big oil, McDonalds, Ratheon, Walmart or any other company, is just passed on to the consumer. BIG BUSINESS doesn’t pay for it, we do. When the price of any business goes up, whether due to the price of materials, the cost of labor, overhead, or yes, even taxes, the price of the goods or services are raised to compensate for this. This isn’t rocket science, this is just the cost of business. Any business that would just absorb all cost increases, including taxes, will not be a business for too long.

  Now we have this contrived threat to the earth, global warming, and the left sees a way to play two of their favorite angles in one issue. Taxing the rich, and making us feel good. They play to the emotions of their base by making them feel good about saving the earth. They tell us, if we all do our part the earth will survive and this is designed to make us feel good. Then, to really play to their base they say that they will also tax businesses to save the earth. The left loves hearing someone is going to pay, and it is someone with more money than them. That also makes them feel good. When in reality it is always the working class people that take the hit with tax increases. The Democrat leadership knows this is true also, they just don’t care. The don’t care where the money comes from as long as the money comes from somewhere. They have managed to bamboozle their base into believing the Democrats are for the working class all the while tucking it to them.

  Global warming is nothing but another attempt by the Democrats to gain tax revenue and it is picking up momentum. The working class people are going to foot the bill for this, just as they always do, and the Democrat base is all to willing to go along with it because they think it is an opportunity for them to stick it to the man. Wait until they find out that they are the man.

  Notice the word “all” in his statement? Was that by accident? Because if he really does mean all, then he isn’t going to stop with businesses (which will pass the cost to us), he will tax us ALL. We get hit twice. This is nothing new when it comes to the Democrats.

 For we are The Man, doesn’t it feel good?
