Hillary Clinton Admits that the Country Can’t Afford Her Ideas

hillary_clinton.jpg she is focusing on proposals with more political support and she is not formally proposing anything she can’t fund without increasing the deficit: “I have a million ideas. The country can’t afford them all.”

That was Hillary Clinton’s defense after giving up the idea of a $5000 baby bond to everyone, including babies of illegals, born in the United States if she becomes president. She gave up this proposal after facing ridicule from the Republicans, who realized how foolish this idea was.

Two things strike me about her statement. The second thing that struck me about her statement is the first issue I want to write about. She has basically admitted that she is and always has been pandering to whatever group she is speaking to. If she truly believed it was a good idea to issue those baby bonds wouldn’t she fight for it? Shouldn’t she fight for it? The fact that she was so willing to throw the bond idea away tells me that she was just pandering in the first place. How many other ideas of hers does she really believe in? How many other ideas of hers are just pandering? I believe most of them are. Am I the only one who looks at her ideas and realizes that all of her ideas involve giving something away for free? I don’t think I am. But most of the people that actually listen to her are people that want something for free,  so they don’t even realize she is pandering to them. Of course nothing is free, taxes on the workers pay for everything, but that is beside the point.

The first thought I had when reading that statement was, this is the truest thing she has ever said. We can’t afford to have her as president, literally and figuratively. She say that she will not implement any of her one million entitlements, I mean ideas, if it will increase the deficit. And that’s good. But what isn’t good is how she still WILL implement her ideas without increasing the deficit, TAXES. She is going to tax workers for every last penny she can get out of us all in the name of fairness. So she is right when she says we can’t afford to pay for her ideas.

But we will.

Thats what I need, someone else trying to spend my money on things I don’t want. Would I be immoral if I held a gun to your head and demanded cash so I could use it to fund my cause of choice? Why is this OK with her & her supporters?
