New York Governor Orders State Officials to Give Driver’s Licenses to Illegals

 According to this article in the Washington Times, New York Governor Eliot Spitzer has ordered state officials to start handing out driver’s licenses to illegal aliens.

New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer has started a major political fight over immigration by ordering state officials to issue driver’s licenses to illegal aliens, prompting at least one county legislature to defy the executive order and pushing toward a showdown in court.

 Thank God at least some counties are giving the governor a big “FU”.

Monroe County legislature defied the governor and ordered its county clerk to require anyone seeking a driver’s license to provide a valid Social Security number. The decision runs counter to Mr. Spitzer’s order, in which illegal aliens with valid foreign passports would be eligible to obtain a state driver’s license

 This is, once again, amazing to me that this is happening in America. Illegals are getting more and more rights and privileges that should be reserved for American citizens and LEGAL immigrants. Why should someone wanting to come to this country do so legally? It’s not worth it. It takes to long, and while they are waiting who knows how many are breaking into the country, demanding and getting rights they don’t deserve. Meanwhile people waiting for their number to be called so they can come here are getting the shaft. So are the American people.

 But if you disagree with moonbat Spitzer, you are rabid and evil and bigoted.

“The rabid right that wants to pile on and use this to demagogue the issue will not carry the day in New York state,” he said recently. “Those who view this as a political issue once again are taking the state in the wrong direction.”

 If you disagree with Spitzer he claims it is political. Why is it that if you want people to uphold the law to come to this country you are part of the “rabid right”? God forbid that we want desirable people to come to this country. If a person can’t even respect America’s law on immigrating legally, how can we expect them to respect any other of America’s laws? WE CANT!

 I believe that New York is a motor-voter state, so when you apply and receive a valid driver’s license you may register to vote. Does that start to make you a little nervous? It does me. Once illegals get their driver;s licenses they will be able to register to vote. NON CITIZENS with the right to vote. Criminals by breaking the law to get here, will have the right to vote. How many of them would actually show up at the polls? I don’t know, but what I do know is that the Democrats will offer them the world for a vote. Guess which party the illegals will vote for. The party that promises to give them free healthcare, welfare, Medicaid, and on and on.

 We have brave men and women fighting overseas to protect our interests at home, yet we are being beaten from within by the Democrat party willing to sell their souls for a few votes. We are going to lose America as we know it if we continue to cater to people who come here and demand we assimilate to their culture instead of them assimilating into ours.

 America is reaching critical mass and we must stop this trend before it is too late.
