Barack Obama’s Campaign Headquarters Displays a Communist Flag
Barack Obama recently opened up a new campaign headquarters in Houston, Texas. At this new campaign office something rather interesting is noticable, just watch the video below to see what it is:
Right next to the picture of Barack Obama is a Cuban flag with Che Guevara’s portrait. this just shows us the type of person who is supporting Barack Obama. I am not going to say that Barack Obama even knows about this, but it does make you wonder about his supporters, doesn’t it? People who are so enthralled with the communist, terrorist Che Guevara that they would publically display a flag with his image on it in a campaign office for a candidate running for PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES ia alarming.
This is not the first flag controversy that Obama has been involved in, we all remember the lapel flag pin flap, where Obama stopped wearing the lapel pin so he wouldn’t seem too pro America to the terrorists.
And, just in case you forgot:
Obama looking disinterested while the national anthem was playing, and refusing to put his hand over his heart. It makes you wonder, doesn’t it? We have two incidents where Obama shows contempt and disdain for America’s symbols and one incident where his supporters proudly display a communists image superimposed on a communist flag.
It makes you wonder who his policies are more in line with, communists or free market ideals, when you see that Obama’s supporters are also fans of Che Guevara.

Well, I’m glad you wrote on this. I didn’t have the heart to. It’s too irritating to me to even focus enough to address it. I can’t believe that somebody who is running for the President of our country has this much of an attitude about it… That his supporters would sooner hang a far-left violent revolutionary a-hole’s image over their desk than an American flag…
Can we really support somebody who wants to be president who doesn’t seem to have any real love for this country? What kind of people back a man like this? Well, I should rephrase that, because clearly we know what kind of people support him thanks to the Che flag ordeal… But what about the people who just blindly go along because they like his charisma or his so-called “idealism?”
People need to get a clue, because people like Hitler and Lenin and Castro were well known for their charisma, ideals and ability to blind people from their intentions until it was too late. It doesn’t take a history scholar to understand this sort of historical significance…

Placing your hand over your heart is done when reciting the pledge of allegiance. It has never been done historically for the national anthem. However, it is clear that some of you will jump on anything to make a point. What I know about Barack Obama is that he is Well Educated, Experienced, Organization Skills are totaly evident in the race he is running. He is a Good Husband and Father and shows that his family is very important. My vote is for Barack, however rather that bashing I encourage you all to make your vote count for the candidate of your choice.

Jo, I have no candidate to vote for. I disagree with all of them. I will cast a vote but it won’t count because there is no way my write in candidate will win. Jo, I think you are mistaken, as a veteran and a loyal Christian American, I don’t want the greatest country in the world put under the leadership of a muslim, who can’t swear his alegence to this nation. I have always saluted, when in uniform or put my hand over my heart when the nation anthem is played, there is usually an American flag raised or displayed while the anthem is being played. I don’t know your age but people like you, uniformed to what is really going on in our counrty are scaryier than the canidates. Research Obama’s voting record or his beleifs and tell us what he has voted on or what his beleifs are, no one knows???? He yells about changes, but I don’t think we, the American people can affort the changes he might bring to this great nation.

Whether or not a law stipulates that a hand be placed over a heart when the National Anthem is being played, I think Obama simply out of RESPECT should have put his hand over his heart. I know I would have, because I love my country with a passion, and I don’t need a law to TELL me to do this;I also do it when the Pledge of Allegiance is being recited.
Obama no doubt is a nice man – and a silver tongued speaker – but his strong Muslim background scares me. I’d rather have an American I know be my President; either Hillary or McCain would do a good job of protecting us from the Muslim terrorists out to destroy us.

Where I come from EVERYONE places their hand over their heart during the national anthem or Pledge of Allegiance with the exception of Boy Scouts in uniform, Girl Scouts in uniform, police officers in uniform, and members of the armed forces in uniform.
The fact that he may not have seen others place their hand over their heart is no excuse. He is running for the greatest office in our nation. Maybe he needs a great deal more experience in how things are done before running for such a high office. My six year old Boy Scout PROUDLY stands at attention when the national anthem is played or when the Pledge is recited. It is “The American Way”

§171. Conduct during playing
During rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present except those in uniform should stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Men not in uniform should remove their headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart. Persons in uniform should render the military salute at the first note of the anthem and retain this position until the last note. When the flag is not displayed, those present should face toward the music and act in the same manner they would if the flag were displayed there.

A media that prints a story that the president missed some national guard drills and ignores bank deposits as proof they were done and yet accepts forged documents and prints a statement from his comanding officer that he does not remember Bush being there. Then on the other side every single officer above Kerry and most of the men he served with dispute his service and heroism in Vietnam and the press says his accounting of events agrees with the offical government records and reports. I’m gonna give him the benefit of the doubt about not saluting the flag. Perhaps he was daydreaming, or simply wasn’t thinking. And as for the communist flag, it seems that one of the people working for his campaign, not Barack himself, put up the flag for their own reasons. However, when you look at consider both of the instances and what his pastor has been saying, it is cause for concern.

Questioning the depth of someone’s patriotism is a pointless affair. Patriotism is an abstract term. If I were to find someone who could be deemed MORE patriotic than you, would your beliefs become somehow nullified? As an American, what do you know about Che Guevara or Communism besides what has been fed to you by media and American history books? Has there been some instance in American history that would lead you to believe a presidential candidate is planning a coup on the White House? Wake the fuck up. The sheer mega-buck nature of American elections excludes any and all possibility for communist ideology. Who could fork over that kind of money, resort to the tireless promotion and ad campaigns and in the end be labeled a communist? I agree very much with Melinda. Not all communists are terrorist. There are many pros to being communist, but there are also many cons. Same thing with democracy. As for not putting his hand over his heart for the National Anthem, it isn’t fair to say that it’s not respectful, or that he was “refusing” to. He folded his hands respectfully, and no one was attempting to force him to put his hand over his heart. If he had not had his hands folded and had them hanging freely by his sides of in his pockets, it would have been a whole different story because that is obviously rather disrespectful.

Ever heard of a thing called little white lies? Well, this is not it. These are LIES. Aside from the athem, and aside from the flag that is now in his Houston headquarters, aside from all of it. Obama is not an experienced canidate. He simply does not have enough experience. Let’s set aside all the absurd things that he has chosen to do such as not wear the pin, or place his hand over his heart in the above video, the fact that his childhood mentor was a out and well known communist, one in which Obama came to claim as somewhat a father figure. Let’s set all that aside as it really gets us no where. What we as American citizens with the power to vote need to look at is that he isn’t experienced. Well, why let a few facts get in the way of a good story?? Can we all spell p-h-o-t-o-s-h-o-p? As to the first clip, one of the previous posters was correct, why did not the reporter question the office staff about the (alleged) flag especially since the report was done by a Fox owned station or was the whole scene staged since it ended up on You Tube?
In the second clip, you can not even make out who the man is who is not saluting. Obviously the video was taken by an amateur NOT a reputable source. Whoever shot it could have just easily hired look alikes.
In addition to look-a-likes, give me a couple of days, a well equipped PC and photoshop with the lot of you and your photos and I will have you all in your underwear saluting both Stalin and Osama Bin Laden in the same picture!!
Try a little cognitive critical thinking instead of mindlessly accepting whatever you see because it re-affirms your views and your collective obsession about “swiftboating” someone not conservative or bigoted enough for your tastes.

Well, I see that so many people are upset about all of this Obama stuff with the national anthem. I have actually never posted or “blogged” anything in my entire life but I feel the urge to speak up about this issue. In this country you are allowed to not like your country, and allowed to do/not do what you want. The only difference between America and other Fascist Dictatorships (in disguise or not) is that we are allowed to not like this country and speak or act accordingly. Obama, wether I agree with this notion or not, is being a true patriot in this case. He is doing what makes America what it is. By the way, patriotism is not to be confused with excessive nationalism which is one of the fundamental roots of dictatorships. People might want to think a little bit before ranting with no sense on what goes around in the world or what has happened in history. Then again, there are the typical lazy American who is only concerned with their own interests, I should have expected that.

It is a sad comment on how uninformed, misinformed and unintelligent people are in this day and time of the computer and the internet. I am daily amazed at people who don’t think that the American way of life is being sold down the river(overseas) for the corporate greed of a few wealthy people. John and Cindy McCain down care anything about the middle class of this country all they care about are the rich corporate friends and giving them their tax breaks. I hope I live long enough to see this country fall and all those who sold us (the middle class) scramble when their money means nothing because they broke the people who made this country what it is or should I say was. This country was once a great nation of moral and ethical people but Bush and Chaney have taken the low road on everything as have all the scared little girls that work for them. Bush and Cheney did not promote fear in me. What did it for me was the murderous attack on 9/11/2001. Before that day, I felt safe. At least in my own bed. America is not safe in her own bed anymore. I appreciate a leader who is willing to go out with aggressive and rage-filled retribution on his mind in retaliation for what was done to us as a people and for the horrendous torture of the last minutes inflicted on those innocent people who had the extreme misfortune not to have died instantly with the impact of the planes hitting their jobsite. I for one think we are far too tolerant of extremists in our country. People who make statements like: “I hope I live long enough to see this country fall…” should be invited (*forcefully*) to leave. You cannot claim love for your home and family from one side of your mouth and from the other say: I wish my home would fall down, I want to see people I don’t like “scramble” and it means nothing that my family has no home.
“VOTE OBAMA FOR REAL CHANGE!!!!”—my ass! At least 4 of his known friends, backers and allies are extremists chanting “God damn America” and we allow them to live here and, in more than one case, teach (read *influence*) our children. It is time to take our country back not from “fear merchants” but from all of the far left liberal extremists who in *tolerance* have taken almost every part of the U.S. Constitution and twisted it so far back on itself it applies to no one but them. The “hows” and “whys” regarding the Iraq war were not brought to bear by the George W. Bush Administration.
“Weapons of Mass Destruction” encompasses more than nuclear warheads to include biological, chemical and now radiological weapons as well as nuclear devices. Saddam Hussein was using chemical and biological weapons on whomever of the Iraqi people he considered to be his enemy. At his discretion only, of course.
After the invasion of the Gulf War of 1991, the U.S. and the international community maintained a policy of “containment” towards Iraq. This policy involved strict economic sanctions and ongoing inspections to prevent Iraqi development of chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons, among other “maintenances”.
In October of 1998, U.S. Congress passed, and PRESIDENT CLINTON signed, the “Iraq Liberation Act” in response to Iraq’s termination of its cooperation with U.N. weapons inspectors the preceding August and U.S. policy began to shift towards “regime change”. This act provided $97 million for Iraqi “democratic opposition organizations” to “establish a program to support a transition to democracy in Iraq”.
Operation Desert Fox was launched by the U.K. and the U.S. one month after the passage of the act. The reasoning was to hamper the Hussein government’s ability to produce chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons. There was little to no forward movement for almost 5 years, even immediately after 9/11/2001 and that most heinous act of terrorism.
The 2003 invasion of Iraq was led by the United States and was backed by British forces and smaller contingents from Australia, Poland and Denmark in order to “disarm Iraq of weapons of mass destruction (WMD), to end Saddam Hussein’s support for terrorism, and to free the Iraqi people.” U.K. Prime Minister, Tony Blair, was the one to speak as to the reason for the invasion and stated the actual trigger was Iraq’s failure to take a “final opportunity” to disarm itself of nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons that U.S. and coalition officials called an immediate and intolerable threat to world peace.
In short, President Bush was following policy and strategy which was set up by the DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS in 1998 and put in place by the 1998 DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENT WILLIAM JEFFERSON CLINTON. If you like, I can supply actual statements made by Democratic Senators in support of the Iraq Liberation Act and encouraging a full measure of enforcement.
Lying, treachery and manipulation? Not a trace.
The Republican Party’s entire campaign platform in the 2000 election called for “full implementation” of the Iraq Liberation Act and removal of Saddam Hussein. Key Bush advisors, including Vice President Dick Cheney, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, and Rumsfeld’s Deputy Paul Wolfowitz, were adamant proponents of invading Iraq. Former Bush treasury secretary Paul O’Neill said that National Security Council meetings involved discussion of an invasion later adding that these discussions were part of a continuation of foreign policy *first put into place by the Clinton Administration.
Of course I can understand how you can be so misguided. Your own candidate doesn’t even know how many states we have. He thinks we have 60. He also thinks the American military liberated Auschwitz.

Why would you hold Barack Obama responsible for a flag hung by someone who supports him? If I supported Obama and painted myself with a swastika would you claim Obama was a neo-nazi? As for the national anthem “incident”, not everyone puts their hand over their heart for the national anthem. It is NOT required to do so. It is only required for the pledge of allegiance. Next time you watch a football game or other sporting event, take note of how many players don’t put their hand on their heart. Obama was looking at the flag and standing for the anthem. He showed ample respect in everyone’s eyes but McCain supporters. As for the lapel pin.. it’s become almost a sickening post-9/11 fad for politicians to wear them. You dont see any other country wearing their flag on their clothing every day of the week. Why is it required for Obama to wear the pin? He has the right not to. Not every politician wears an American Flag pin on their lapel. Do you wear one? That’s right, I didn’t think so. I’d rather our President fix the problems in this country like our recession, health care crisis, energy crisis, and the fact we’re at war in 2 countries before worrying about such trivial bullshit as lapel pins.

This all is why I have become a supporter of Barack Obama–to restore our civil rights under the Bill of Rights.
Give us a candidate that’s generally conservative, but repects our Constitutional rights, and I’ll give that candidate a closer look…

You know.. since I was 12 I wanted to be a marine.. I remember when I met with a marine recruiter when I was 18 my senior year in high school. I would have done it for free. I didn’t care about what they would give me. I wanted to protect the place I loved, my family, my friends.. my country.
I think we all do.. but.. I am glad I never entered. I was turned down for taking Adderall. I am glad I had time to reflect.. glad I had to time to think about what I was fighting for. I think America can lead the world in easing the suffering that the religious pretend to care so much about.
Work hard, do what is right knowing the person next to you may betray you and use you. Do what is right. Be an American Communist!

These accusations against Obama are really a stretch. Obama was very respectful during the national anthem, and if you looked around almost everyone was fidgeting around but he stayed mostly still. Putting your hand over your heart is for the Pledge of Allegiance. And although it is acceptable to do it also for the Star Spangled Banner it is not a part of it. At least one other candidate did not have his hand over his heart and in no way is that unpatriotic. Obama was standing, listening to the anthem, and looking at the flag in the distance and was behaving as a model America citizen. Stop trying to attack his character.

Do you ever wonder why the liberals spew out so many words at a time? It seems as if their brains get a sudden attack of political diarrhea and it all comes out. Seems to me that instead of arguing point by point they try to overwhelm you with non-stop invective. It is much the same tactics they use when conservative or non-liberals try to speak at the few universities that will schedule them. They shout, they rant, they disrupt; anything to stop views they don’t believe in.
Wait, maybe that is the crux of the matter. They “believe”! It is not a matter open to discussion. Their viewpoints are the “true word” of socialism and are not to be discussed or discounted. Just what book is this socialist Koran? Is there a title? Are we allowed to view it? Who wrote it and why do they keep it so secret?

Drew, Sure it’s not disrespectful, but the law clearly says that citizens hold their hand over their heart (unless theyre military in uniform, in which case they salute). Non-citizens stand respectfully like Obama did.
And, Obama himself has said that the Constitution is America’s biggest flaw. How much more UNamerican can you get than that? People have died in wars fighting to protect the rights granted by the Constitution. Electing someone who thinks the constitution is our nation’s flaw is like defacating on the graves of all of those soldiers that fought and died to preserve our rights.

This is why I hate politics. Everyone is so busy slinging mud that nobody really knows what the real issues are or where the candidates actually stand. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs, but that doesn’t make your beliefs any better than the other people on here commenting. I am sick and tired of all the name calling, the negative remarks, and the attacks on other people’s intelligence simply because their beliefs differ from yours. I have my beliefs but I’m not going to try to shove onto other people, and I do not believe that anyone here is less intelligent than me just because they liked the other candidate. If all of you people really want things to change, how about changing the way you conduct yourselves and start actually trying to get along with one another and find compromises between the political parties. Argueing like this does nothing but continue to rip this country apart. Debates are good, and debates help to get both side’s point of views across. But it requires both sides to listen and think about each others point of view. What I read here was nothing but a lot of childish bickering. I say let’s all grow up. learn to compromise and work together and make this country the greatest it can be.

That post is over two years old and there were many of us that were worried about this man’s policies back then. But we were marginalized and called racists. Now that he is in power we are seeing that we were right all along. It is not surprising any longer that so many on the left would agree with his policies and still defend them to this day, but it is still surprising to me that he was able to fool moderates and independents and even some Republicans into voting for him. The signs were there, people just didn’t want to believe them.
