Iraq War Media Coverage Declines as Conditions Improve

March 1, 2008

I didn’t need this report to figure this out, but finally we on the right get some confirmation about the way the Iraq war has been covered. When the war was at it’s worst, and Americans were dying every day we got countless reports on the war and the death toll. But after the surge began to work, and the war turned in our favor, and less Americans were being killed the media stopped it’s endless reporting on the war. A look at the chart below confirms this.

You would think that as the war began to turn in our favor the media would find this newsworthy. Sadly, that is not the case. Charlie Gibson even admitted this with this report back in October:

One item from Baghdad today.  The news is… that there is no news.  The police told us that, to their knowledge, there were no major acts of violence.  Attacks are down in Baghdad and today no bombings or roadside explosions were reported.

Tim Russert also said something to the same effect in December:

“with the surge in Iraq and the level of American deaths declining, it is off the front pages.”

The Iraq war as an issue in the campaign has even dwindled. Candidates barely even talk about the war as they try to ignore anything positive that is happening over there. Of course, in an effort to appease the far left moonbats that will always be out there, the candidates do pander to them by saying they will bring the troops home right away.

But let’s never forget the type of people these far left moonbats are:

And lets not forget these “religious”people from the Westboro Baptist Church who protest along with their children at the funerals of American soldiers:

If America wins, these people lose. And that is a good thing. If I were running for president, I would rather lose the election than pander to these people the way Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton do.

Do these imbeciles even have a point? Do they really think most servicemen are homosexual? How can they even function in society without “supervision”? Criminy! Do we need to re-open Danvers State Hospital? They grabbed onto the 1st amendment and jumped into a black hole with it!

It’s not so much that they think the military is filled with homosexuals, they think American society is too accepting of gay people. They think God is sending military people overseas to die because of America’s tolerance of homosexuals at home.

Boy, talk about a mixed message!
On the one hand, you have photos of liberals showing their disdain for the war. On the other hand, you throw in pictures of some ultra right-wing religious nuts who were making a point that they hate gays.

Yeah, it is kind of a mixed message, but I feel as though Obama and Clinton are pandering to both. At least on this one issue. I have just as much of a problem with both of these groups, so I thought I would post pictures of both.

Those people that hate our troops, can thank them for giving them the right to speak out and pretty much look like asses.
