President Bush was Referring Jimmy Carter not Barack Obama During his Speech in Israel
You remember the speech that President Bush gave in Israel earlier this week? How could you forget it right? This is the speech where he said that America cannot appease her enemies, and Democrats assumed he was taking a swipe at Barack Obama. This is just too funny, but it did expose the Democrats now didn’t it?
It turns out that President Bush was taking a swipe at Jimmy Carter, who just had a face to face meeting with Hamas. He was simply referring to this meeting in his speech. But as soon as Democrats heard those words they naturally assumed he was taking about Barack Obama. And with good cause. It sent alarms off in their heads because they realize how they are perceived by the American people when it comes to national security. They are soft on national security, and on crime in general. It’s not just a perception, it’s a reality. They immediately came out on their own behalf when the president wasn’t even referencing them. They exposed themselves in an effort to do just the opposite.
The quickness at which they jumped on that statement by the president shows us a real lack of self confidence on the issue of national security by the Democrats. The president hit a nerve with the Democrats that he didn’t intend to, but it proved to be an excellent measuring stick for how they must really feel about themselves.
There is a reason they are so self conscious about this issue. IT’S TRUE!

And when GW Bush keep prefacing all of his remarks about Saddam or Iraq, was he saying that Iraq was responsible for 9/11?
GW Bush lied us into the Mideast mess and now he is lying to maintain the mess

Funny – wasn’t McCain talking to Hammas only 2 years ago? Wasn’t Condi sent to the Middle East and Russia for talks? Didn’t we have some successful talks with North Korea? WTF is wrong with talking if it’s going to avoid war and slaughter? Oh, that’s right — when you have a president who is incapable of reading past a 2nd grade level and has the communication skills of a retarded jackal, it’s much easier to to strike out with force. Especially when you’re doing under the pretenses of “liberating” people instead of pillaging their land for oil.

Even under the Bush Administration there have been talks on varying levels with all the members of the “Axis of Evil.”So the BDS crowd needs to get a grip.(3 meetings w/ Iran,Egypt w/ Hamas,NK directly and via SK and China, Syria directly and Israel had a good thing going recently)
Talk is good but the very nature of diplomacy dictates the President should be very particular about who he actually sits down with. That doesn’t discount intermediaries etc. The sitting is sometimes the biggest thing and until rockets stop flying Hamas IS a terror group no matter how many elections they win…without majority mind you.
I’d question how successful the NK talks have ever been. Clearly Albrights were dimmed by the lies of Kim II and the naive nature of the Clinton Administration. The recent breakthrough talks with NK has more to do with food aid then securing the desired nuke settlement.

I say let Bush do his politics for a few more months. Then he is gone and hopefully there come better times for America.
I expected much more clash between Bush and Obama but it looks like they both try to ignore each other with a few exceptions.

Bravo Mr. Pink Eyes
I thought it was pretty arrogant of Obama to even think The President would be so worried about him, that he had better get in a jab. Come on , beat the girl first, then we’ll talk.

He didn’t say talking wasn’t good. He said certain people feel that they are so much smarter than anyone else who has ever tried, that if they could talk they would be the ones to turn the world around
