Jeanne Shaheen’s “Joke” Draws the ire of New Hampshire Republicans
Last week Jeanne Shaheen made what she is now calling a joke at a fund raising event:
We’re hoping for an indictment against Sununu, but it hasn’t happened yet
This has drawn the ire of state Republicans as there is no investigation into anything that Senator Sununu has done. She has insulted his integrity. If you want to debate the issues Mrs. Shaheen, than go right ahead. You have vastly different positions on many issues. But don’t insult the integrity of a man who doesn’t deserve it. Are you that desperate? It is you with that “joke” who has now shown a lack of integrity and a will to stop at nothing to win.
From the Sununu camp:
Jeanne Shaheen continues to exhibit a complete lack of integrity,” Collins said, “and unfortunately this is but another instance of Shaheen’s embarrassing New Hampshire with outrageous and disgraceful comments
And from the NHGOP:
State GOP Chairman Fergus Cullen said Shaheen is free to disagree with Sununu over policy, “but no one should doubt his personal integrity. For her to suggest he is corrupt is inexcusable.”
Once again this is typical from the left, if you disagree with them there is no room for debate. She is trying to criminalize a differing opinion. Instead of fighting for the issues that she believes in and showing us why she would make a better senator than Sununu she would rather disgrace the man.
It is this type of gutless and cowardly campaigning that New Hampshire doesn’t need. This however is the way the Shaheen’s campaign. It was last December that her husband had to step down as a co-chair of Hillary Clinton’s campaign for making a reference that maybe Barack Obama used to be a drug dealer.
If these two can’t debate the issues without the character assassinations that they are becoming famous for than perhaps politics isn’t the best line of work for them. Remember the line the Democrats used about the politics of personal destruction? Who’s using it now?

She is a fool. She is just showing that she is afraid of him.

“Instead of fighting for the issues that she believes in…,” now why would she fight for her desire to raise taxes?! That wouldn’t make her the ideal “people’s” candidate! Here’s a good commercial highlighting her favorite areas…taxes!
