Michael Moore: “Hurricane Gustav is Proof God Exists”

August 31, 2008
Asshole

Asshole

This is all that you need to know about Michael Moore. When asked about the hurricane that is bearing down and may be headed to New Orleans this is what this asshole had to say:

I was just thinking, this Gustav is proof that there is a God in heaven,” Moore said, laughing. “To have it planned at the same time – that it would actually be on its way to New Orleans for day one of the Republican Convention, up in the Twin Cities – at the top of the Mississippi River.”

What was the first thing that this man thought about when he heard that this hurricane may hit New Orleans? Was it the welfare of the people who would be affected? NO! The first thing that came to his mind was to politicise this natural disaster. His first thought was how will this hurt Republicans? He laughed when he thought about how ironic it is that this hurricane could hit during the GOP national convention. He doesn’t give a damn about the people of New Orleans he only cares about how this could possibly hurt the Republican party and affect the November elections.

He then realized how heartless this sounded and tried to back off by saying he hopes that nobody gets hurt, but that was too late. He exposed himself for the heartless, uncaring bastard that he is. He has made millions off of the misery of others and I hope he is right about the existence of God because he should rot in hell.

When you whining crybaby crypto-fascist wingnuts start sincerely apologizing for your calling for the beating, imprisonment and killing of antiwar people back in your goose-stepping glory days of ’03-’05 – then I might start to be impressed by your blubbering over things like this.

Until then, chickens coming home to roost – what goes around comes around, etc.

Man up and face the fact that almost all decent people despise your guts.

Here is the definition of fascism, because I am sure you are just spouting rehearsed lines and have no idea what fascism is:

a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.

I am not suppressing opposition, I do not want to supress opposition, I am the opposition, I am speaking out against someone I disagree with, my constitution gives me that right. How is that fascist?
I am not calling for him to be silenced I an simply pointing out how much of an asshole he is.

Also read through my blog and please point out to me where I have ever called for the beating, imprisonment, and killing of anti war people. I haven’t, you are just spewing empty words with nothing to back it up.

I noticed Mr Pink eyes didn’t mention the fact that James Dobson and the so-called christian right prayed for rain on the dems in Denver. Most right-wingers of today are hypocrits beyond belief. I am amazed that the gullible, kool-aid drinking evangelicals that follow ones like Dobson, Hagee, and Robertson, can be so deaf, dumb and blind.

Where on my blog were you able to come to the conclusion that I follow Dobson, Hagee, or Robertson? I don’t.

I am not a Michael Moore fan either but Michael Moore singlehandedly provided more aid than George Bush and John Mccain did in the first week of the aftermath of Katrina. I feel it is my duty to answer to your partisan and blind trashing of anyone who dares trash Bush. No matter how trashy Moore tends to be, you have no room to talk supporting the neo con agenda, and yes, Fascism at it’s finest.

Where is your proof/links because I would like to see it? I haven’t heard of this one. If it is something like donating to the Red Cross, that is stretching the truth.

Perhaps Moore should have thrown his body in a levee break to help save those poor people from harm… Other than that, he’s useless.

LOL, Tom. It should be obvious that Michael Moore is a miserable person who hates himself. I he did give aid to Katrina “victims” then he was trying to prove a point. How could he possibly care about anyone else? they might be a republican! horrors! I think he should keep to himself a little, his time is pretty much past.

In response the first paragraph right after the quote… You condemn Michael Moore for what he said about hurricane Gustav. Did you also condemn every single conservative wing-nut who praised God for using Katrina to “destroy” New Orleans while simultaneously ignoring the plight of people who were stranded there?

I wasn’t blogging back then, but your comment does show an ignorance and stereotype of conservatives. Yes I do condemn people like Jerry Falwell who blamed gay people and those who are accepting of the gay lifestyle as being responsible for 9/11.
Your use of the term conservative wing-nut just assumes that everyone who holds conservative beliefs does so for extreme religious reasons. Your lack of undestanding of conservatives is understood though, as you are being taught that all of us who are on the right hold extreme positions. Some of us just hold onto moral values that are taught to us not neccessarily for religious reasons.
