Which Campaign is More Hateful?

October 16, 2008

Much has been made by Democrats and the media about the hatred that is supposedly on display at the McCain/Palin rallies. There were rumors that people were yelling out such terms as “terrorist” and “kill him” when Obama’s name was mentioned at the McCain Palin events.

We have already learned that the secret service has concluded an investigation and nobody yelled out “kill him”. It was just a rumor.

As for the accusation that someone yelled out “terrorist” at the mention of Barack Obama’s name, so what. For the last eight years the left has called President Bush the world’s leading terrorist, they have called him a killer and a murderer. What is the difference here? There is none.

The hatred on the left has been in full display for eight years without the media batting an eyelash, but suddenly there is concern about the tone that the Obama/Palin campaign has taken on.

One of the left’s staple issues is femminism, equal pay for women, and women’s rights. (Even though Obama pays his women staffers less than his male staffers.) But all you have to do is look at the way the left has attacked Condi Rice to realise that the left doesn’t want to see women successful.

So I ask you, what is more offensive? One attendant at a rally who called Obama a terrorist, while the left has called bush a terrorist for eight years. Or this?

So much for the left caring about strong women.

I thought liberals were the champions of equal rights, tolerance, and diversity. I can’t believe it. This has got to be a republican conspiracy. 🙂

Both sides have their nutcases when you start getting to the extreme left and extreme right. These people with their extreme views do not help the cause that they support. Instead they bring their cause down.

That was the point that McCain was trying to make at the debate, but naturally he fell short.

I have missed reading your blog. I have been soooo busy.

I have to tell you I find this vile diatribe really disgusting. I think in the past 3-4 weeks I have been called more names than I have in my entire life. Things like neo-con whore, racist, idiot, fool, moron. It is just crazy.

I don’t think this kind of verbal diarrhea is necessary no matter where it comes from. Having said that, I think the left is way over the top as suggested by your photo.

I have a post on my blog that list dozens of vile comments, videos, and attacks, especially against Sarah Palin @ http://anunlikelyperspective2.squarespace.com/my-political-perspective/2008/10/13/where-is-all-of-this-rage-coming-from.html.

One thing that I find very disturbing is the rage that I see on the left. They’re almost foaming at the mouth they’re so upset. Watching some videos of the attacks made against Palin – like the one by a particular female comedian I won’t mention by name – was unbelievable! How do one come to hate someone so violently that you have never even met?

Anyway, good to be back and reading your blog. BTW, I am now an official NH voter!

Well, then I guess if it’s OK to calll Sarah Palin, candidate for VP of the US that vile name in print, and wear it proudly, then I guess it should be OK for me to wear a t-shirt that says Barack Obama is a —“you know what”. Oh yeah, that’s right I wouldn’t. Some of us have not forgotten common decency, They don’t call it hollyweird for nothing.

I would agree with the shirt, Palin is a C U Next Tuesday. For what she has done in Alaska with the slaughtering of wolves from helicopters even though Wolves are borderline on the endangered species list, it doesn’t matter to her. Also, If she really cared about the citizens of her great state reaping the benefits of Oil. Then why does Alaska have some of the highest oil prices in the nation? Also if she is not “that word” than why was she trying to get her X-brother-in-law fired in a very illegal political way? If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, I would Call it a duck…

Dominique, Welcome home, glad you made it in time to help us in November. We need more like you in this state.
I find it stunning that the left can complain about the “hatred” on the right after all of the vile hateful things that they have been saying over the last eight years.

Jenkins! First, to hell with the wolves, and seeing how you mentioned ducks, I wouldn’t mind killing a few of those either, they are very tasty.
As for firing her ex inlaw, didn’t he taser his 11 year old stepson?
