JFK Assassinated 45 Years Ago Today

November 22, 2008

Here are a couple of the news bulletins from November 22nd 1963 when it was learned that JFK was assassinated in Dallas. It is hard to imagine, actually it is impossible to imagine, what the nation and in particular the Kennedy family was going through back then.

Today marks the 45 anniversary of one of the blackest days in American history and it is important that dates like this are never forgotten, we must always remember.

JFK was the last, maybe the only, great statesman to hold the Presidency.

Blockbuster Videos: Evidence of Revision 1-5, compiled from thousands of television news tapes, detailing neglected or ignored evidence on matters including the deaths of John and Robert Kennedy, respectively President of The United States, and United States Senator. Including evidence from the Los Angeles coroner that the shots that killed Robert Kennedy, were fired from a distance of between one and three inches into his head from behind and below his right ear, Sirhan Sirhan who was convicted for the killing was several feet to his front, the film has footage of the LA DA simply brushing that aside.

President Kennedy was about to reduce the Vietnam commitment when he was murdered, his body was hardly cold when Johnson who succeeded him as President announced he was sending more troops.

Evidence of Revision 1-5 dumps a bucket on Johnson, it says he was up to his ears in it, there is taped testimony from a Deputy Sheriff in Dallas, who was one of the first into the Texas School Book Depository after John Kennedy was shot, he witnessed the recovery of a rifle identified as a 7.65mm German Mauser.

The news of President Kennedy’s death arrived here early Saturday, by noon on Sunday the weapon first stated to be a German Mauser had become a 6.65mm Italian Mannlicher Carcano, and by Monday morning school scuttlebutt was adamant that his driver had shot him, the first item on the school’s agenda that morning was that no discussion of the crime would be allowed during class.

As the Presidential limo emerged from behind the freeway sign, the driver William Greer, turned and looked over his right shoulder, he turned back and while holding the steering wheel with his left hand, retrieved something from under the dash with his right hand, he then transferred the object in his right hand to his left hand, then turned his head back around to look at the President, and brought his left hand around his body, and aimed and fired what appeared to be a nickel plated .44 Cal revolver at the President’s head.

For the fact there was no debris field down range from JFK’s head in line with Greer’s supposed shot, and that both Governor and Mrs Conolly, who were in the car with the Kennedy’s testified they heard no gunshot, tends to exonerate Greer, some have said that the nickel plated revolver was sunlight reflected onto the hair of Secret Service agent Roy Kellerman seated beside Greer, and direct inquirer’s attention to a piece of the Zapruder film that shows him with both hands on the wheel.

Certainly his body language indicates that he fired on the President, and for the fact that sunlight could have provided an illusion does not explain why he turned around twice, nor does it tell us what it was that he recovered from under the dash. As many experts that have declared the Zapruder film to be authentic, are matched by as many more who say there are gaps, and that some frames are missing or have been cut and spliced back together out of sequence, or both.

So Greer is not in the clear by any means, the Secret Service team leader recalled the two men who would normally have been standing on back of the vehicle as it entered Dealey Plaza, and allowed a wide gap to develop between the Presidential limo and the next car in the motorcade, see the grinning SS man in that vehicle on press photo’s taken immediately after the shots were fired.

E Howard Hunt is now positively identified by his son St John Hunt as one of the three tramps taken into custody at the site, a Mr Harrelson as another, the last had an identical profile to a former US Navy enlisted man who murdered both his parents, advanced photo shopping techniques identify him on the still camera shot taken by a lady opposite the Grassy Knoll, as firing a short version of an AR 15, the weapon’s raised foresight silhouetted in the muzzle flash making it immediately recognizable, his shot appeared to strike the President at virtually the same instant as Greer’s.

Arlen Specter US Senator from Pennsylvania signed the Warren Report, the official inquiry into JFK’s death that said Lee Harvey Oswald acting alone shot the President. Specter should be hauled before a court of capital jurisdiction and be required to explain why he neglected the photo that shows Lee Oswald at the door of the Texas School Book Depository, the building from where he is alleged to have fired, as the shots rang out.

Another little known fact is that Richard Nixon who succeeded Johnson as President, had been in Dallas on the morning of the shooting he had flown out prior, maybe there was collusion from him as well.

Feedback says: “…It’s doubtful whether any of Sirhan Sirhan’s shots actually hit Kennedy.”

MT wrote: Classic double speak… how can it be “doubtful,” if Sirhan was several feet to his front, and the bullets were fired into his head from between one and three inches below and behind his right ear, it’s not doubtful at all.

What are you doing coming up with crap like that, paid spammers infest cyberspace and post trash, you would appear to be well and truly in that class, their only common bond is the trash they post is all friendly to Israel, is Specter an Israeli.

FB says: “…If Greer turned around and shot him from the front seat, why was the motorcycle cop to the left of the limo splattered with blood and brain matter.”

MT wrote: The debris that reached the motorcycle cop was fallout from the rifle shot fired from the Grassy Knoll.

To make the facts fit the hypothesis, we can conclude that an air pistol fired at close range will kill, but might lack the kinetic energy to cause an exit wound, particularly if it fires poison dart or a pellet of ice. Connolly who had already been hit, and his wife who was rendering aid to her husband were both facing away from Greer, and could easily remain unaware of an air pistol discharge despite their closeness.

FB says: “…The third “Tramp” is supposedly Frank Sturgis.”

MT wrote: E Howard Hunt has been positively identified by his son as the hatted tramp, Harrelson appears to be another, while the third is a small bird like man wearing dancing pumps, Frank Sturgis was a stocky solidly built man, the photo’s on various websites of both the third tramp and the ex Navy man who killed his parents, reveal both have identical profiles… It is not easy to find two men that have, and for that reason I support the theory that it was him.

FB says: “..If you knew anything about anything …stop thinking you know something ….because you see some dumb-assed, faked video clip …mental patients …your own goofy websites …stupid …you’re spooky ….you kooks …you morons.”

I wasn’t alive when JFK was shot, but when speaking to my grandmother, she had told me about it, and it is one of those events that you remember what you were doing at that particular moment in time. After 9/11, she mentioned that JFK’s assassination was one of the 3 most memorable world events (Pearl Harbor was the other).

I guess every generation gets at least one of those events.

    Great call on the article.

Thanks, there are certain events that are above politics. I was also not born yet, but when something like this happens that it is important to remember that while we may consider ourselves either Republicans or Democrats or Libertarians, or anything else that we are first and foremost Americans.

I remember it well. I was on my way to class in college when I heard. The prof canceled class. We spent three straight days watching the TV. All this was in the time that folk singing was popular. We had pushed beyond R&R and were finding ourselves as a people. The assassination and the war crushed that and we ended up with acid rock; lost, stoned, and cynical.
