Congresswoman Calls Tea Parties Despicable While Her Husband Pleads Guilty to Tax Fraud
Below are two quotes.
“It’s despicable that right-wing Republicans would attempt to cheapen a significant, honorable moment of American history with a shameful political stunt,”
And:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
You know where the second one comes from, the first quote is from Rep. Jan Schakowsky and she was talking about the Tea Parties that were held all across the country yesterday.
She went on to say that the right wing was distorting the truth about the president tax policies. Apparently Rep. Schakowsky believes that her position, and the president’s, is the final say and that we should just fall in line like lemmings and not question what is going on in Washington. She apparently forgot to read the first amendment where it reads that we have the right to free speech and to peaceably assemble, and she clearly does not believe that we have the right to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
She has her positions and many Americans have a differing position as was evidenced yesterday. Because we differ with HER position she finds our decision to recognize our first amendment rights despicable and shameful. I ask you, “who is truly being despicable, the person who exercises a constitutional right or the person who feels that a person who exercises a constitutional right is a despicable person?”
But there is a twist to this story. Rep. Jan Schakowsky is calling those who participated in Tea Party tax protests despicable, but the funny think here is that on the day that people were protesting the tax increases, her husband was pleading guilty to tax fraud. Now that is what I call despicable and shameful.

Well, too bad. I guess I will be engaging in more “despicable” behavior in May and July and any other month we decide to hit the streets and protest. So she can get over it!

I plan on being there too. They are going to find out that we are serious, this wasn’t a one time thing. They can laugh about it now but we will have the last laugh in 2010. I hope.

This totally liberal administration has to go! It will now take years to undo the damage they have brought to this great Nation! “despicable”……what we are seeing before our very eyes is the same brainwashing that went on in Germany against the Jews. Everything is being twisted and distorted and turned upside down. Here is the TRUTH…..Patrick Henry rallied out “Give me LIBERTY or give me death”. More TRUTH….we threw off the yoke of high taxation from the Brits…our forebears were willing to DIE if need be to get out from under the bondage from the King of England. These new tea parties are PART OF OUR HISTORY and it looks like it’s repeating history again as this nation has elected a “king” who would enslave us!!!! Yet it’s the right wing “christians” who are being demonized..this is a SPIRITUAL BATTLE pure and simple……They’ll start with us right wingers and move on to the Jews again because the bottom line is we’re in a clash of the kingdoms….the kingdom of satan attacking the kingdom of God, yet again….but IN THE END……GOD WINS…..WHOO HOO!!!

Yup….I read that same book. Stunning, isn’t it? Leftist politicians, with the help of the slobbering, sycophantic left-favoring media, are doing all they can to first, minimalize, then demonize, their dissentors. Clearly, they’re nervous, or they wouldn’t be resorting to such transparently deceitful tactics and disparaging language. Their shrill, petulant clamouring goes a long way in showing just how dangerous we right-wing “loonies” (aka concerned citizens exercising their first ammendment rights) are to their socialist agenda. Did they really think it was going to be that easy?
