Barack Obama wants to push immigration reform before the 2010 election
Now that Barack Obama has demanded an up or down vote on his healthcare reform bill, he has left that issue to congress while he moves on to the next domestic issue– illegal immigration.
Barack Obama wants to pass comprehensive immigration reform before the upcoming 2010 elections. Naturally this plan would include amnesty for illegal aliens. He claims that he wants to move forward on illegal immigration before congress gets “distracted” by the midterm elections, but the real reason he wants to pass this bill before the election is because he will have no chance to pass it after the election leaves Democrats badly bruised and battered. Barack Obama knows that there is going to be a huge anti-healthcare reform backlash in November, so he wants to push as much of his domestic agenda through as he can before the election, because he knows he is on borrowed time.
Americans let their feelings about amnesty for illegals known when President Bush tried to force immigration reform down the people’s throats against their will after Democrats gained the majorities in the House and Senate. The people rose up and through persistent emails, letters, and telephone calls we were able to stop the immigration reform bill. The American people are on the verge of stopping healthcare reform by using the same measures, but Barack Obama is oblivious to, and uncaring about, the will of the people. He will force healthcare reform upon us, and if he succeeds in this effort there will probably be no way that we can stop him from granting amnesty for illegal immigrants.
In the past, Barack Obama has refuted the claims of Republicans that illegal aliens would be covered under his healthcare reform bill, and maybe it is true that illegal immigrants will not be covered. But it is true only because he plans to make all of the illegal aliens legal before the healthcare reform bill’s benefits take effect.
Perhaps this is the reason that while the tax increases in the healthcare reform bill go into effect immediately, the “benefits” will not be seen until sometime in the year 2012. This delaying of the healthcare benefits could be designed to give the illegal aliens enough time to become legal before the healthcare reform “benefits” begin, thus ensuring that those who are illegal now will be legal and eligible for free healthcare when the “benefits” finally start to be implemented. Barack Obama is doing an end around the American people.
I honestly don’t see how there is any chance for an illegal immigration bill to be passed before the midterm election. Healthcare reform has neutered the Democrats who are worried about their re-election, and they should be very leery about taking on another issue that is at odds with the will of the American people.
If there are any Democrats who could survive a re-election bid after passing healthcare reform, I would guess that voting in favor of granting illegal immigrants amnesty would be the final straw for their constituents .
The problem is that not only does Barack Obama not care about the will of the people because he honestly believes that he knows better than we do what is best for us, he also doesn’t care about the re-election of his own party members for the same reason. He is willing to sacrifice his congressional party members in order to push his leftist agenda. The question is, will Democrats be willing to sacrifice themselves for Barack Obama;s leftist agenda? I don’t think they are willing to give up their careers for Barack Obama, but once the pressure is applied there is no telling what will happen.

This is elitism at work. People that think like Obama “know” what’s best for us, and will force it upon us against our will. Fortunately, for us, the left hasn’t indoctrinated enough people that will blindly support it for this to work.

Immigration reform is necessary. Illegals need to pay taxes and carry their load. don’t be stupid we need them to become legal. Where’s your brain?
They can help pay for insurance and not burd en the middl-eclass.

E-Verify has been under attack by any of the open border organization that represent a list of too many entities, whose only believe system is profit–no matter the consequences to the American labor force, irreversible Overpopulation and a marginalized country. I, personally will fight for it as many other bloggers will, because this foreign occupation must be halted. Some senior politicians under Rep. Gabrielle Gifford (D-AZ) are trying to stop its use, but offering another alternative. This in my mind is just another distraction to impede E-Verify and its growing popularity, throwing in some other new tool abbreviated as NEVA. Yes! E-Verify has been compromised by illegal workers using fake ID, Do you really think that this irregularity cannot be reversed? We have this enforcement tool now and its staying. Bloggers have made sure every American person is aware of it. A number of foreign workers are getting past the verification system. But upgraded, innovation will soon stop all this?
E-Verify which–WILL–become permanent application, that will evolve and finally will constitute a fearful computer program to apprehend illegal workers. It will not be undermined by corrupt legislators. The influx of hundreds of thousands more unskilled laborers would impoverish America’s unskilled poor even further A growing number of police departments have had a favorable response to the use of the 287 (g) local officer enforcement. But the federal government under powerful politic elites as Sen. Harry Reid, Speaker Pelosi, HMS secretary Napolitano and other suspicious politicians, have made it their business to bring to this country, at least a million moderate legal immigrants a year, with no restrictive way of just importing highly skilled workers. President Obama has made it clear, that he is going to try and pass an Amnesty and–now–having discussions with Sen Chuck Schumer, Sen Lindsey Graham, Rep. Raul M. Grijalva and more who remain hidden.
It seems that its up to individual states to enforce the immigration laws, because the Federal government seems to have lagged way behind. California, a known–SANCTUARY STATE–is overrun with illegal people and currently trying to justify a $20 billion dollar shortfall. Many states have seen the errors of there ways and now realized the implications of underestimating their serious budget crisis, caused by the impact of illegal alien families they are supporting. Arizona, Georgia have taken major steps to enforce immigration regulations on their level of government. California has no such enforcement, in fact they haven’t even a program of using a permanent E-Verify. Sacramento has disregarded any immigration laws and now have students and professors in universities complaining of budget cuts, because the money is going to supporting welfare programs for illegal foreigners. Yes! Some illegal families pay some taxes, but it nowhere compares to the siphoning off federal, state and municipal public coffers. STARTING WITH MIDTERM ELECTIONS, I PREDICT ILLEGAL ALIENS RIDICULING OUR BALLOT SYSTEM, SPECIALLY IN CALIFORNIA AND OTHER OVERWHELMED STATES BY VOTING. NO PROOF OF NATIONAL STATUS, IDENTIFICATION IS REQUIRED IN MOST STATES.
Under the shadow of utra-Liberal assembly in Sacramento, these extremist lawmakers have nearly destroyed there home state, by millions of illegal families stealing public welfare. There are those in Washington who would push through an American-Mexican agreement that would allow illegal immigrants access to the Social Security of every worker in our nation. There are those in Washington who have sold their soul to obnoxious business owners for less tangible gifts, so perpetrating the worst crime available of another- BLANKET-Amnesty. Not only would it cause billions of dollars to process those already here, but criminals would not surrender to immigration authorities and yet another call for Immigration reform would bring millions more banging at the gates to be let in? Its almost like their is no difference in national status between an illegal alien and a true citizen and legal resident, because of the status quo who allowed this believe system.
Many of our politicians have committed a capitol offense against the edicts in the US constitution, by allowing monetary corruption in clouding their minds and not stopping generations of illegal immigrants. Republicans are split on the the issue and Democratic with Liberal-extremist leanings think we should share every dollar with indigent foreign nationals. California schools are so overcrowded the children of illegal immigrants are ruining the chances of regular citizens not getting a decent education. We have millions of Americans in our prisons system, so we certainly don’t need illegal aliens to house and feed. As usual the open border zealots are screaming , threatening potential court rulings-and perhaps immigration laws against states with a desire to protect their citizens, such as rescinding the instant birthright citizenship law; a verdict once and for all, be explored by the Supreme court?
Just as voters in California were cheated because their filing of Proposition 176, intentionally manipulated so as not to reach the highest court. The Public entitlement mentalities, and equally accommodating policies, are propelling the momentum of illegal immigration into this nation. Free health care, education are just part of the equation, that is causing major transference from needed infrastructure repairs and cutting back on social welfare programs for our poor and unemployed. We should vet every entitlement and only allocate to those persons who are legally here in the United states. Obama doesn’t care about a 2nd term. He’s already indicated that. He wants to go down in history with Marx, Lenin, Mao and the others as the man who destroyed capitalism and the symbol of that, the United States. The healthcare debate is angry, and there was thuggery as well, compliments of the SEIU. I have a bad feeling this debate will be more bloody. The racist open borders crowd know this thing has to be passed before the midterms as well. I guarantee they will pull out all the stops.
I’ve said before that the tentacles of this one issue affects all other issues in this country. Healthcare, national security, crime, schools, social security, Medicare and other entitlements, not to mention that if this thing actually gets through, the balance of power in this country is permanently shifted to the left. Not only that, those with allegiances to countries other than the U.S. will be wielding even more power they have now. In my opinion, hands down the #1 issue.

It is people like you, “Mr. Pink Eyes” that make this country so slow at progressing . You are saying that they should hold off the vote on Immigration Reform because they are making a fuss about Healthcare Reform. So instead they should worry about votes rather than policies? The point of the government is to make change. You say that President Obama is not listening to the people by going through with Healthcare Reform and Immigration Reform but look around you, our Nation is split on both issues practically 50/50. You seem more upset that your view is the one being ignored, but the other 50% are people too and have the right to be heard which is why these issues must be discussed and voted on. They may or may not pass but because “the people” care about these issues they should at least be considered. The policies should be what is important first, not the votes.

Your numbers are way of when it comes to this healthcare reform bill and amnesty for illegal aliens. Current polls show the American people opposed to this version of healthcare reform at anywhere from 67%-70%, and the poll numbers are roughly the same for granting illegal aliens amnesty. The country may be almost evenly split between Republicans and Democrats, the recent elections show us that, but on these issues it isn’t even close. But for the sake of this argument I will accept your numbers as fact and pretend they are correct.
This is an OPINION blog, not a NEWS blog, I write my OPINION on the issues facing us. I have never said that the other side has no right to be heard, I agree with the idea that both sides should be heard but you seem to have a problem with me for stating my opinions. Debate is the cornerstone in the foundation of this country, but you seem to have a problem with me for debating the issues. If you would rather that people like me do not have a say in the debate and that the administration should dictate policy perhaps you would be better served moving to a country like North Korea where the administration tells the people what it is going to do and the people have no voice to offer a differing opinion.

Why don’t all you wieners quit complaining and get behind our president. Reagan was an idiot as was George the 1st and especially George the 2nd. Look at the way they left this country In major debt and in war. Sadam Hussian said that America would defeat his army but they would break us. People wake up! That is exactly what is happening. We should have never gone into Iraq. Since we did we should take their oil to defray the cost to us to so called free them. Osama is still causing problems and that should have been our prime purpose to kill that piece of crap. I am a disabled veteran and have always supported our military and still do but they are not the ones making the stupid decisions that is costing them their lives. Think about it people.

I noticed you left out Bill Clinton in your what about him list, I guess it’s only republican’s that are to blame. This weiner will stop complaining when our President and Congress start talking about less taxation, smaller government,less government spending and no redistribution of wealth. If you are so intent on entitlements being good then you still have the freedom to go to any Socialist countrie where you can get them.

It fits our needs perfectly the advantage of immigration reform on the country: Greater supply of unskilled workers, a younger workforce, and skilled workers in needed sectors. But there is also a disadvantage of immigration reform like Greater poverty, more educational cost, lower unskilled wage levels, and increased danger of terrorism. Thanks to the post!
