Mexico to open an office in the United States to help illegal aliens get identification

June 3, 2010

The Mexican government is opening an office on Catalina Island in the United States that will help illegal aliens get the documentation they need in order to obtain services from the country (the United States) they are now living in.

These “matricular cards” are issued by the Mexican government to Mexicans who are not living in Mexico, regardless of their immigration status. This means that illegal immigrants in America will now be able to go to a Mexican office in the United States and get identification that could help them to take jobs away from Americans or to collect welfare and live in public housing at the expense of tax paying Americans.

This is what it has come down to in America under the Obama regime. If you enact a law to protect your borders as well as your citizens– who are dying every day as  a result of drug violence committed by illegal immigrants– you are nothing more than a misguided racist. Meanwhile the government of the people who are committing this violence in our country are allowed to open up an office that will provide them with the identification they need to fraudulently live off of the hard labor of taxpaying Americans.

Something is seriously wrong in this country when it is unacceptable to enforce immigration laws, yet it is perfectly acceptable for a foreign government to set up shop in America with the sole purpose of providing illegal immigrants  documentation that can be used to skirt the legal system. And dare I say– vote?!

Ya know, the situation is already pretty damned tense in Texas and Arizona, it’s not going to take too much before rounds start popping off, from OUR side…

It’s an upside-down world. We’re blasted for wanting to stop the crime, especially the murders, and we’re the racists.

    1:15pm UPDATE:

Mexican government officials have moved their satellite consular office from the Catalina Island Country Club to a Catholic Church – citing protection under the Geneva Convention.

Anyway, this is a tempest in a teapot. The sort of ID Mexico is furnishing is essentially no more than the card marked “identification” that comes in any new wallet you buy. As official identification, in fact, it has no force – it’s a courtesy card issued by the Mexican government to its residents travelling abroad.

Any employer or government worker who takes any action based on the matriculation card (other than calling ICE) is an idiot.

As to the drug violence, the way to bring that to a screeching halt is to end the misnamed war on drugs, which is really a war on Americans. Nobody’s going to be coming to the schoolyard to try to hook our kids on drugs without the profit motive. Legalize, regulate and tax recreational drugs – exactly the approach we take with alcohol.

Otherwise, yeah, it takes a pretty large set of cajones for Mesico to do a lot of what it does with respect to its people illegally entering the USA.

Catholic church? I wonder if the drug dealers will still go in. I don’t care how fake the thing looks or how unofficial it is, it will become good enough and will be a gateway. I saw a good bumper sticker— Change it back!!
