John Kerry says uninformed voters are to blame for the Democrats’ problems
John Kerry recently said the reason that voters are turning on his party is because they just don’t pay enough attention and are not educated enough on the issues to know what is going on.
Okay, that is not exactly what he said, but reading these comments by John Kerry leave no doubt that that is what he meant.
We have an electorate that doesn’t always pay that much attention to what’s going on so people are influenced by a simple slogan rather than the facts or the truth or what’s happening
Actually after re-reading what he said, I don’t think I mischaracterized what he said in the least. Conservative blogger William Jacobson summed up John Kerry’s statement perfectly when he stated the following:
It just continues the Democrats’ theme that the reason people are upset is because they don’t understand. They’re not smart enough. That sort of rhetoric just gets people even more upset,
He is exactly right; there is a certain arrogance that is prevalent in the Democrat party and it is fully evident in John Kerry’s statement. As many of us have been saying for quite some time, the Democrats think that they are smarter than everyone else; they think that they know what is best for everyone else, and John Kerry’s statement is further proof of this position.
John Kerry’s statement is also further proof that he has a certain disdain for the average voter because he feels that they just don’t know what they are doing. And in a way I agree with him, how else can you explain the fact that the voters have returned him to the Senate so many times?

So when the ball’s in the Progressives’ court and they are in power, the voters are enlightened. But when they’re on their way out, the voters are stupid and uneducated. How tolerant.

The arrogance of the Democratic Party and this man knows no boundaries. The progressives believe they know what is best for us because we cannot grasp complex issues. This arrogance is the main reason they trample all over our constitution and our rights. Great post Steve.

And it is also they main reason why they will soon be out of power! The fact that these people honestly believe that we don’t know what is right for us is so condescending and arrogant, I honestly don’t know how anyone can vote for them.

In a sense, I think John Kerry is right.
But let me put that in perspective.
Fact is, last month I closed up the Queens, New York deli I’d been operating for fourteen years.
ObamaRules. ObamaRegulations. ObamaFees. They all cut into my profits to the point I was losing money. I started operating at a loss to the tune of nearly ten thousand dollars a month.
How do I feel?
I feel so poor I can’t afford to pay attention.

And I’m sure that “JFK” was all for Colbert “testifying” to Congress and will be at John Stewart’s “rally”. Reality bites. Remember when George Costanza said “it’s not a lie, if YOU believe it.”? I think John Kerry took this seriously.

We are the ones who don’t pay attention according to John Kerry, but it was his party that made a mockery of the Congress by letting a man tesify in character before them. Is it any wonder that nobody is taking the Democrats seriously any more?

If only the could re-educate us, everything would work out just fine, right? Just like in North Korea lol

A lecture, that is exactly what this was. People are getting damn sick and tired of having people like John Kerry tell us that we just don’t understand what is going on!

When reality proves that their policies are exactly what we said they would be, WE’RE uniformed?
Do they really expect us to be that stupid? (rhetorical question)
