Video: Why Allen West must run for president in 2012

It is becoming more and more obvious to me that while Barack Obama should be vulnerable in 2012 the Republican field to date is too weak and flawed to defeat him. Unless and until a true conservative steps up the the plate Barack Obama’s re-election is all but assured no matter how badly he has failed in his first term.
But where do we look for alternatives to the current pathetic state of presidential hopefuls? Allen West may be the only viable option, but so far he has declined to run, here is a video I found at Trevor Loudon’s New Zeal of an impassioned plea by Janet Contreras urging Allen West to run.
If Allen West runs he will have my vote, and I have to think that I am not alone but we have to convince him to run.

I agree….am already visualizing West nail Obama in the presidential debates. West would be brilliant as a leader and do the right thing for America. But will the power elite let him?

Can you image what West would do to Obama in a debate? We must not let the elite pick our candiates any more, or the media for that matter. They gave us Bob Dole and John McCain and if they have their way it will either be Romney or Gingrich this time around.

I would LOVE to see that debate! You are right about the RNC ‘picking’ our candidate. I lost faith in them when they threw Sarah under the bus and attacked her as bad as the Dems did. She was the reason McCain even got as far as he did! I suggest NO $$$ to the RNC, send it to the candidates WE choose to support! At least WE KNOW where it’s going!

We haven’t had a career military man in the White House since Ike. The MSM would try to show as someone who solves problems with aggression. they’ll claim he will lead us into more wars. Are we ready to deal with that? If we are, then Allan West could be a formidable candidate.

Maybe we need to give this man another look. He’s a freshman Congressman, and a career military man. I guess the question is, is he ready for that, and does he want it?

If he doesn’t jump in now, there will be no ‘right time’…our country will be lost and being a Congressman from FL will be a moot point! Another 4 yrs of ‘O’ and there will be no getting back all that he is signing away….and we will become the dependents he wants us to be as he strips us of every piece of worth we have! I truly believe in my heart, that Congressman West KNOWS this to be true…and with his HONOR and LOVE of Country AND OUR PEOPLE, I do not think he will stand back and watch it all be stolen out from under our feet! I think, but mostly I PRAY, he WILL STEP UP! He IS our greatest strength, other than God, for beating ‘O’!

There is one other factor that I think would be most excellent for this equation of President and Vice-President coupling Allen West and John Bolton for those positions. Then use Paul Ryan for Treasurer, and the list grows on from there. I believe West and Bolton will balance each other greatly.

There comes a time when good men and women must step up to the plate and put their country before themselves. This is exactly what George Washington did when the called him to serve as President of the Constitutional Convention and later President of the United States. He didn’t necessarily want to, but he knew he had to.

Washington was quite content with the life he was leading, but when called he felt that he could not shirk his duty, maybe Allen West will feel the same way if enough people push for him.

The MSM will frame him as having too little experience. That is in part to the fact that they give military experience little – or even negative – credibility. As if community organizing is so helpful.
For what it’s worth I predicted a year and a half ago that Mitch Daniels would win in 2012. I’m sticking by that predicition. Yeah, I said he would win over Hillary, but hey, I’m willing to stick my neck out and won’t deny when I was wrong. (I thought she would clobber him on foreign policy, frankly.)

The MSM will attack him for his lack of experience even though they gave Obama a pass on the same issue; of course West has even less experience. I will be taking a close look at Daniels if he declares, but I don;t know enough about him right now.

One comment above, asks ‘will he not lead us into more wars?’ Do people not understand that from here on out our future IS perpetual war? We have nothing to say about it other than to treat others fairly with strength and power ….. the ‘carry a big stick’ theory.
We need a leader, not someone bent upon changing our values and leaving the doors open to insurgents. I support West.
Also, on YouTube, one asks if he is supported because of his color ….. Leave it to the libs to play the race card …… again.
We need to bring our manufacturing home …. and restore our strength …… How many knew of Cadillac’s paying for a video supporting China? What else will these traitors do if we don’t get serious and elect a knowledgable patriot? Alan, please …..

I believe that you are probably right; these wars will last for many years because the enemy is invisible and dedicated to our destruction. The time for a real leader is now and it does seem like West could provide the leadership we are now lacking.

I am not surprised too much when some people refuse to run for office. With the anal probing the media is going to give anyone who dares to try and unseat BHO. I would love to see Allan West run. I might even like Thomas Sowell. He has a little more libertarian tilt and he is a great economist.
At least one of those guys will kill a large part of the democrat strategy. The RACE CARD. I can’t bring up a valid arguement about BHO without being called a racist after they can’t debate you on facts. I know it has been used since BHO’s first run. But now without a primary to distract democrats watch out. They will be especially critical of the Tea Party again.
Of course they could still use the “your not black enough” theme on Allen right? There must be something wrong with them when an intelligent, articulate Black man isn’t voting the party line right?

I wonder how many good people out there who think about running for president decide not to because they don’t want to put themselves or their families through the scrutiny that comes with it.
If West does run there is no doubt in my mind that many of the Democrats who preach tolerance and diversity will be quick to call him an Uncle Tom.

I think he could probably use a little more time also, but if he runs I will be with him. I have to admit that I haven’t looked at Bachmann close enough yet to have an opinion on her, but I do know that she didn’t endear herself to we New Hampshirites when she confused Concord New Hampshire with Concord Massachusetts repeatedly when talking about the “shot heard around the world.” We do not like to be confused with Massachusetts for obvious reasons. 🙂

I have watched Bachmann over time, and have finally come to the conclusion that she is a parisitic paranha (how-be-it intelligent and articulate) BUT, she is only thinking about HERSELF and how to best HER position in this weird upcoming election. She can’t win, as she is not presidential in caliber or strength, but is only furthering her own feather and cause. I know she has been a foster mother to I believe a lot of children, and has a good heart in areas, but she won’t make it for the Presidency. Sorry to be so blunt, but I have contributed to her campaign, and see her true intentions for what they are. Don’t hang on to her, but let her go. Encourage those who really are worthy, like Allen West, or John Bolton, or others who can do some REAL GOOD for this country, instead of for themselves, like Bachman. Jon

I had never heard of Allen West; but prayed hard one day for God to send someone who could do the job and save us from going to “exactly where this country is headed”. That night I saw a video of Allen West being interviewed in a public place that appeared to be something like maybe an airport. I was so impressed that I googled Allen West and read articles, went to You Tube and watched videos of Allen West …. After about 2 hours or so, I literally jumped up, with fist clenched and arms in air and my feet came up off the floor as I screamed…..”Thank you, God….That’s Him!” Pamela J. Collins (Georgia)

I have been crazy about West since spring of 2010 when I happened upon a YouTube speech of his. I said WOW !!! This is the New Ronald Reagan I have been waiting for all these years. I am not a constituent of his I live in Commiefornia but I enjoy receiving his weekly wrap-up report in my inbox. I belong to many Allen West for President 2012 sites and am an avid supporter of him. The beauty of him IS HE IS NOT the Washington career politician and his military experience is all he needs in my book. He loves God and our great nation and as he says ” I bleed red, white and blue. ” I pray every day that he will answer WE THE PEOPLE and run. He is the ONLY one that can take down Obummer hands down. This great American is the ray of hope this country needs to survive. Unlike most of the empty suits occupying space in the House and the Senate, Col West was a military man and appreciates the fact that America is the most powerful and wealthiest country ever to occupy this planet. The one promise Obama is trying to keep is to ” fundamently change America”. The obvious question is Why? Obama would be hard pressed to win a debate with Col West due to his lack of experience in running a government, foreign affairs, economics, and NO experience concerning the military. There would not be enough tele prompters or progressive speech writers for him to prepare for such a debate. I would gladly spend time and money to help Col West run against this inept and dangerous President, and bring America back to being the not only the most powerful and wealthiest, but respect nation in the world
