Allen West claims the Muslim Brotherhood is influencing national security

April 23, 2012

Allen West is one of the few people in the Congress who speaks his mind and says what needs to be said with no concern for how it will effect his political future and that is certainly refreshing. Last week he came under fire for comparing certain Democrats in the Congress to communists and  Marxists, but instead of backing down under the intense pressure he has faced since those comments he has stood by what he said because he is a man of his words.

You may not agree with what he says all the time–I do–but at least you know where he really stands and what his beliefs are; his beliefs do not change based on the political winds and earlier today he came out firing because the FBI has edited its training videos to be more sensitive to Muslims. He stated that when tolerance becomes a one-way street it would lead to “cultural suicide,” and stated that the Muslim Brotherhood should not be influencing national security.

When pressed on whether or not he felt the Muslim Brotherhood was influencing national security he said “absolutely” and pointed to the Fort Hood attack being classified as workplace violence as proof. It is not racial profiling, it is trend analysis, brilliant!

Here is the video from the interview:

I saw this video earlier today, think on the Blaze. West just calls things the way he sees them with total disregard of any blowback and he certainly getting that now. The politically correct stance the FBI is taking on the Muslim Brotherhood is worrying to say the least. The Brotherhood is no friend to U.S. policies in the middle east, not the policies we should have, but perhaps the policies of the Obama administration. I suspect this is the rub. Those in the FBI would not take such a move unless it was approved by higher ups in the White House. The danger is not so much, the Brotherhood, but rather those in the administration who are taking a very soft line on muslim radicals in that part of the world. I don’t know what Obama has in mind, but I feel its not in the nations best interest. His thinking seems to have a distorted view of the world, one he acquired over the years from those radicals he associated with in school and later. At any rate his understanding of America’s position in the world seems lacking and certainly a cause for concern.

Ron, I think that Obama knows exactly where the USA stands with the rest of the world. He has every intention of taking us as low as he can, I hope he is on borrowed time in OUR house. I can’t remember a time that we were thought so little of as a nation as right now. I, am ashamed of what we as a nation are portrayed as to other countries, this is not the doings of the American people, but from what we put in OUR house. Time to move them out and put someone in there that has the best interest of everyone in the USA. The way I see it, we have one shot left at turning around the damage, after this next election, I doubt it will be an option. Did you ever think in such a short time that our standing as a nation could drop so drastically?

Remember when Obama said “like it or not, the US is a superpower,” that showed us how he really felt about the US and he has been doing his best to bring us down in the world. Much like he doesn’t feel income inequality is fair he also doesn’t think it is fair for there to be stronger nations and weaker nations, he is a globalist and is working on getting us on the same level as other countries.

There is no doubt in my mind the FBI is doing this because they have been told to do this from the White House. Allen West isn’t afraid to tell the truth and that isn’t seen in Washington all that much any more, we need more men like him in the Congress if we are ever going to turn this around.

West calls them as he see’s them. Given the Obama administrations ass kissing of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt why not belive Rep. West? I certainly do.

Political correctness in the face of reality is a dangerous deviation from any awarness of lurking dangers. This Obama administration is stacked, top to bottom with Muslim apologists, race baiters, fawning Allinskyites and outright communists. If Obama is not kciked out of office this fall then I do not think it an overstatement to say, we are finally lost.

Allen West has the balls that the Rinos lack – he would be a better President, in my opinion, than Romney….WM

Obama has always hung around with radicals and now he has the radicals with him in the White House, this is who he is and America should have seen it before he was elected. I would take West over Romney in a heartbeat and I am still holding out hope West will be the VP, although Rubio is hanging around with Romney quite a bit the last couple of days.

I’m with you, Steve. Allen West is one true patriot. It’s nice to hear a politician speak the truth without worrying if he is being politically correct. A work place incidence my ass! We have got to get Obama out of office or we will become a second rate nation.

It sure is refreshing and what is even more refreshing is the fact that he doesn’t back down after he comes under fire because he knows what he is saying is true and he isn’t going to give in.

I agree with Jim on this. Allen West is refreshing to see. He is a true patriot that is very concerned about America and the direction we’re heading. He calls it like he sees it.

John, the approval of Col. West takes away one very important card in the liberals deck, the famed “racist” card. That seems to be the fall back card and they hate when we like someone at face value and they can’t bring it out. That is when the “baiters” have to sit that hand out. Could it be that the real racists are the liberals?
