Barack Obama’s foreign policy of “legitimate Islamism”

May 9, 2012

Have you wondered why Barack Obama seems content with the overthrow of leaders in countries such as Syria, Libya, Yemen, and Egypt when it seemed very likely that the freedom fighting rebels are most likely people associated with the Muslim Brotherhood, al Qaeda, and the Taliban which would most likely take control of these countries? Is is possible that while many political bloggers realized this was a highly likely scenario that Barack Obama was so naive he couldn’t see this coming?

The answer to that question is a resounding NO! and in fact this was part of Barack Obama’s foreign policy of “legitimate Islamism.”

The war on terror is over,” a senior official in the State Department official tells the National Journal. “Now that we have killed most of al Qaida, now that people have come to see legitimate means of expression, people who once might have gone into al Qaida see an opportunity for a legitimate Islamism

So what is legitimate Islamism? Here is a summary:

The  theory is that with secular leaders who were former U.S. allies out of the way  in Middle Eastern countries, radical Islamists will now have an outlet for their  Islamism and won’t join al-Qaeda.

Obama  administration officials were pretty blunt about this in a recent National  Journal interview, explaining that the president came to a “realiz[ation  that] he has no choice but to cultivate the Muslim Brotherhood and other  relatively ‘moderate’ Islamist groups emerging as lead political players out of  the Arab Spring in Egypt, Tunisia and elsewhere.”

Basically; if we put people with known terrorist ties in the governments of these countries it will give them a legitimate voice and they won’t have to resort to being terrorists anymore. This theory ignores the possibility that these organizations will combine their proclivity for terrorism and their newfound power, which would increase the danger in that region of the world. It certainly seems like a dangerous experiment, but it could be even worse when we take a look at Afghanistan.

We have people fighting and dying in Afghanistan and earlier this week we learned that the Obama regime was secretly releasing Taliban detainees in a good faith gesture in the reported ongoing negotiations between the Taliban and the United States. But what if there is more to it than this?

Could it be possible that as the United States has people fighting in Afghanistan the Obama regime is releasing Taliban detainees as part of its policy of legitimate Islamism in a covert attempt at installing the Taliban in the government of the very country we are fighting in? If true, how many American soldiers are going to die while Obama attempts his legitimate Isalmification of Afghanistan?

If this sounds like a dangerous policy to you, just think about how Israel must feel right now as all of her enemies come to power around her.

I don’t know what Obama and TPTB are up to but I don’t believe this nonsense of ligitimate Islam. They,, for some reason, want instability in region from the Middle-East to Russia. They have something in mind. I’m just not smart enough to figure it out.

It is scary what is happening over there right now and it is being legitimized by this president, but to what end?

That is what we are all trying to figure out. I cannot believe he wants his kids to live as these 11th century primitives live.

Liberals believe that terrorism is rooted in economics and oppression even though studies have found that people who blow themselves up actually are MORE educated and have MORE money than most of their peers.

They think that by giving them “opportunities” to express themselves that they will somehow change. They won’t.

To some extent we help create terrorists but they are largely a prisoner of their religious beliefs I think. Indeed, Christians were much like Muslims are today before they went through a Reformation and stamped most of that stuff out.

The battles between the Protestants and Catholics is but one example.

What they don’t seem to understand is; these people really believe in the cause when they blow themselves up and giving them a government will not change their beliefs. It will only grant them power and help them better carry out their goals.

“Legitimate Islamism” does not exist. Nor does “illegitimate Islamism” because “Islamism” is a fake word just like “Islamophobia” is. Nor is there “moderate Islam” or “radical Islam.” There is only Islam. To attach any descriptor to “Islam” is forbidden, as it then offers an alternative to the Islam of the Koran.
There MAY be “moderate” Muslims. If they were Christians we would call them liberal, or even backslidden. They have just chosen to ignore the parts of the religion they find inconvenient or embarrassing. Islam is Islam.

It seems to be those with some degree of wealth- Marx, Osama for example want to lead the uneducated off the cliff with their theory of a better society. The masses have to follow these folks or we would not have what we have.

The former Egyptian foreign minister said publicly that Obama was a Muslim, and a year later that regime was gone. Coincidence?

Brilliant deduction! Thanks for your insight! Now they’re free to try and overwhelm America with numbers just like they’re doing in Europe …… that is if the country keeps on going – I mean survives this traitor at the helm. I don;t believe we can, but if so, it’ll be America: LEMMINGS OR US!
