CNN anchor takes the Obama campaign to task for its misleading Romney ad
Yesterday I wrote this post about Barack Obama’s latest anti-Romney, anti-Bain attack ad which was less than truthful about Mitt Romney’s roll as the head of Bain in the failure of GST Steel. The ad claimed that Mitt Romney played a very influential role in the policies which led to GST Steel going out of business, but at the time of the plant’s closure Mitt Romney had already departed Bain two years prior to the closing. On top of that it turns out that Jonathan Lavine, a major Obama bundler, was actually on the Board of Directors when the plant was forced to shut down.
Today on CNN, of all places, Ashleigh Banfield took the Press Secretary for Obama 2012, Ben LaBolt, to task for the misleading nature of the ad. When CNN takes a liberal such as Barack Obama to task for something it is truly newsworthy. Oh, how the mighty one has fallen.

Thanks. I try to keep up with it all, but Obama throws so much at us that it gets hard sometimes. Of course, that is by design.

No this was one of those “look we’re non-partisan” moments.
When the going gets tough CNN will be firmly in the Obama camp.

You are probably right. CNN wants to try to look non-bias every once in awhile. THere is no doubt they will be in Obama’s camp come election time.

Yea I think so. Wish it wasn’t true but past experience proves me wrong.
Would be nice if they did their jobs though, eh?
