Barack Obama on the economy: The private sector is fine, oh wait, I meant no it’s not!

June 9, 2012

By now you have heard Barack Obama’s statement about the private sector economy being fine, and you also have heard him say the real problem actually has to do with cuts in federal spending to the states. Barack Obama was forced to walk back (would this be a flip-flop if it were Romney, just saying…) his comments later last evening when he stated it is obvious the economy isn’t fine.

I think in an unscripted moment of candor Barack Obama revealed quite a bit about himself before clarifying his statement later on in the day when he realized he made the mistake of showing the people his true colors.

He mentioned the private sector in a very dismissive way before moving on to a topic which is much more near and dear to his little heart–government spending. And that is who Barack Obama is in a nutshell; he is a big government guy who has little to no faith or respect for the private sector and he believes the answer to all of America’s problems is more government. Other than taking money in the form of taxes from the private sector to spend on big government programs he really has little use for the private sector and it hasn’t been something he has focused on during his presidency.

This is why he spent the first year and a half of his presidency concentrating on healthcare reform while ignoring the economy, and this is why so much of the stimulus money went towards government programs, projects and services and so little seemed to have gone into the private sector, with at least one report claiming the stimulus actually cost at least 1 million private sector jobs. (And it doesn’t hurt to be a union member, governor of a blue state, or a top Democrat donor either.)

The fact is Barack Obama knows the private sector isn’t fine but it isn’t a top priority of his and he doesn’t know what to do about it anyway so he has ignored it, and he wants the people to ignore it as well so he has been trying to distract the people by talking about birth control, abortion, gay marriage, and anything but the economy hoping hit would go away but it hasn’t.

Yesterday he finally felt compelled to address the economy and now we know–regardless of his walk back–exactly where his priorities are in regards to the economy and now we know why he has been so reluctant to address this issue. According to Barack Obama’s standards the private sector is fine and it is the public sector which needs more help and his plan seems to be more of the same failed policies and we simply cannot afford another four years of an Obama presidency.

As usual, he says something “off script” and the MSM will spin it around and repair it for him OR he will get a new script of what to say and that is what will be pushed to the forefront. It goes without saying if a Republican had said this, it would be front page news. I fail to see why you are even wasting your time (I am sure you have more enjoyable things to do) on reporting it, Steve….you know what the outcome will be and WE, your faithful readers know it, as well. I don’t know if I have it in me to listen to much more of his trash for the rest of the election time, but will try. I am “full up” on lies now. Add to that what AG Holder is doing and sometimes I just have to get away from the computer and focus on other things. Frustration is the word that comes to mind when I think of what is happening and we are subjected to it, whether we like it or not.

It really is getting hard to listen to anything this man says, but for someone who is supposed to be the smartest person to ever hold the presidency he says alot of stupid things.

I have to wonder why he called that press conference?. If you saw the video of it, he was not his normal smug and arrogant self. He seemed very uncomfortable to me. I think he is coming unglued. Yet, a Washington Post/ ABC News poll found: “49 percent said they believe Bush is more responsible for the country’s current economic problems compared with 34 percent who blame Obama.” Maybe I have been gone too long, Steve. I no longer understand my fellow Americans.

That is a discouraging poll Jim, but I wonder if it has been spun to get the results wanted by the pollster, at least I hope that is the case. He probably seemed off his game because this isn’t something he knows about or is focused on so he struggles with the questions.

Jim we know that a poll, any poll can be spun to get whatever result they want. How many times do you get a call and when they find out you are going in the direction they want, they say thank you and hang up? Has happened to me alot…so I believe that polls can be manipulated. There are alot of people that I don’t understand, as well, seems like they have been brainwashed and I always thought they were smart people, go figure. As to why he called a press conference, maybe he did NOT and that is why he was off his game, maybe now someone else is taking the reins and running with this election more than before. Maybe they see that he is not able to follow where they lead and they are not caring now if we see that he is not in (fake) control. I don’t know what else it could be…the Libs are in big trouble. It is clear that he cannot answer anything off script or without prior knowledge of what the question will be.

Sorry, I left out the crucial word of NOT in the sentence on” NOT going in the direction they want”…I meant they cut you off and move on to the next call to get the answers they want.

There is no doubt the media tries to use polls to influence voters and they spin the numbers to get the results they want, the latest example of this is Wisconsin. Polls showed a tight race right before the election, but the results really weren’t that close.

I don’t think it can get much worse Fred. The man had no experience and we tried to warn the people he wasn’t ready for the job. People weren’tlistening back then, but I think they are now.

Reblogged this on Cmblake6's Weblog and commented:
Fucking lemonhead doesn’t seem to realize that if all workers are public sector, and public sector paychecks come from taxes, soon enough there is a spiral that guarantees insolvency shortly. Idiot.

Indeed, if public sector wages come from taxes, and everybody it would seem are supposed to become public sector, then where do those paychecks come from?

Very well done and concise article on this malevolently incompetent marionette. His government-centric(i.e the blue social/governmental model) world view is failing in real time and he insists on moving us further down that road.

He ,with his willing accomplices, blithely calls for the governments of Europe to eschew “austerity” in government spending while glossing over the fact that by not embracing government “austeirty”(which by the way is a myth in the PIGS zone) they by definition impose it on the private sector. It has been those who receive a government check who up to this point have not had to engage in “shared sacrifice” as they find every which way to wring every last dollar from their countrymen.

He blames Europe for the “headwinds” our economy is facing while never owning up to the fact it is his policy choices that have made us more susceptible to those head winds. His messianic narcissism will not allow him to admit error or change course as he is a true believer in the religion of Marx and sees himself as it’s avenging angel.

I do believe he is losing his grip. Best he goes back to the tele. I cannot wait for the debates. We had a good week, and it should give us encouragement.

B, I did not agree with all that Newt Gingrich was about, but in a debate against Obama, well that would be worth watching, wouldn’t it? I doubt there will be very many viewers of a debate of Obama/Romney. I don’t see the excitement for Romney that there should be right about now. It is marginal, at best and that is not a good sign for the candidate, is it? Of course it can also be said for Obama as well, he is not having the same effect that he had before. This is going to be a “blah” election if this is all they have in their bellies. No fire!

I can tell you there is no excitement for Romney with me and I still haven’t decided if I will vote for him.

It does seem like he and the rest of the Democrats have been thrown off their game. To quote Charlie Sheen, winnning! Things seem to be turning our way and we must just hope to continue this momentum all the way until November.

what bothers me is what obama is doing behind the scenes with his administration going after every elected official that’s republican in Arizona. There is a very nasty nest of corrupt officials rerouting our elections in Arizona and it is becoming more and more blatant.

The more he talks, the more he makes Bush look smart. And that’s saying something.
